These are the colored versions of the graphite golems I posted on my SB a while ago.
Thereís the ice golem, and the other three golems have been created from a combination of mud, rock, wood, white tribal painting, etc., looking for a variety of textures on each of them, matte or glossy, depending on the material; I have been trying new brushes, texture manipulation and doing few changes on my rendering technique. Thereís a lot of space for improvement, but Iím very happy with the results. I hope you like them,

Really good. Really off kilter and weird - which is good.
Kind of disturbing and kind of cool at the same time.
I love the cute chunky one. heh
The ice one is so BADASS
Luness, these are fresh, unique and awesome. Excellent work!

Hey Luness, I've been a fan of your work for a little while now. I have to say that the colouring of your concepts is much improved with the Golems here. Look forward to seeing more in the future
its so rare to see someone do it the way you do it.
im a huuuge fan of your work!
Hey, these are really beautiful, some weird and wonderful designs. The one under the ice golem is my favorite

Lovely work. I love the natural elements in them.
Those designs and the way you've done them, are inspired

Nice! I'm not sure of the scale but they look like the size of a house.
Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!
I'd like to have the bottom left one as a pet.
GREAT. You're one of my favorite artists on here and it's because of the weirdness of your art. I knew immediately who you were when I saw these and I thought "oh, THAT guy!" Now I get to go look at your sketchbook to see the new stuff you've got.

Your golems are absolutely awesome. The lower right is my favourite because of his abnormal face.
Hello, hello! No time for personal replies (Iíll check your threads instead), family is coming over, but I really want to say this: Thanks so much guys! Your feedback means a lot to me. Like many out there, Iím self-taught, no industry experience, and this journey has been bumpy and frustrating at times, but words like yours keep me going, chin up, optimistic, so again, thank you very much!!!
Few weeks ago, I started to make quick gestures of fantasy plants, inspired on the Bromeliaceae plants family (there are some of these at home), and some Cacti as well (Iím not a botanic expert, I had to check these terms on the dictionary ). It was soooo relaxing to do. Then I colored some of them, playing with textures and colors, few custom brushes but mostly with the Hard Round one; and the names? A mix of English and Spanish, ha!
Still learning the rim light thing, cast shadows, among many other stuff I have to work on, but quite fun to do anyways. Iím finishing the third and fourth group, which Iíll post later this week.
I hope you like these ones,
Awesome plants! Bonfuego made me laugh.
words fail me man...
if i ever end up working in a studio i would loooove you to be there as well so i can lurk on your magic over your shoulders and see it coming to life.
keep posting cause its frigggin inspiring!
Thank you guys!
Here you have the third group of fantasy plants, including their silly names.
...and the last one!
Now it's time to visit your threads and give some love back.
Thanks a lot for the kind words, you rock!
See you guys later, peace
