I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. We normally don't get snow till around mid-november, so this is pretty early for us.

    Where are you from Ook?

No snow yet just rain. We don't get much snow here till November. Way too much hot air from Parliament.

Actually, I remember when I was a kid (NOT so long ago, say `bout 15 years), and we really had white winters with up to 50 cm of snow in December/January. However, for the past 6 or 7 years there`s been no snow what so ever. Not having a "white" Christmas sucks big time. It really is getting warmer, and such a change in a period as short as this is scary, I tell you...

    Edit - central Europe.

I think the weirdest thing is that someone from Winnipeg thinks it's strange to see snow in October. I've seen snow much earlier there.

Well we haven't gotten snow till mid-november the past five years or so, and I'm only sixteen. It's the earliest I can remember.

You're lucky. Where I grew up had snow yesterday and I was stuck here in San Francisco and its "bleh" weather.

I can't wait to get out of this state.

Snow? October? Not a norm here but not an abnormality either although it only starts sticking come late November. I'm sad too about the white Christmases. We still get them kinda, but it's a gamble. Sometimes you have a snowladen November-early December but when Xmas and New year come it's molten. Only to come back a few days later and not go away by April by which you're just sooo sick of it.

There is nothing silly about what I said. The fact that you pull that dismissive attitude on me time and again shows how kept your mind is by the slant of the politically correct material you read and how easily you personally follow the political script that has been suggested to you. (Don't engage the thought, Quick Mock to dismiss, then move on.) The effort to make skepticism about this whole matter "uncool" is pure mass politics, which is scary because the masses, as anybody with a brain knows, are sheep.

Fyi, John Hardesty worked his ass off and I believe he was still in his early 20s when he began working his ass off.

Fyi, if I showed you all the art I've been doing, (thus giving it away for free online), it would bury you three feet deep and make the reproduction value of my work in the marketplace negligible.

"I call 30 year old child desperate for attention."

Yeah, and I call out a forum provacateur, rather ametuerish when not discussing art, equally starved for attention, and not much older (from what I gather by your photos). Back on topic, it's snowing. Pics later.

    Art.

EDIT: it's later. It's snowing hard but it's not sticking.

EDIT REGARDING: "Men who hang onto their blankeys need to be provoked in order to leave them behind. Artists who want attention should garner it through art."

Alright, let's start again. Kev and Blahm (if you ever get a chance to read this) I apologize. My comment was an attempt at lighthearted humor, and not intended to offend anyone. I thought that since Kev was saying silly things he'd be in a receptive mood for a silly response, and the reference to Blahm has to do with his past statements regarding popular music of the 20th century as a communist conspiracy, as well as suggesting a worldwide domination of Jews controlling our government. It seems to me, anyone who makes these claims should at least concede that others will find it strange, and poke fun of it from time to time. I will say, however that aside from these quirks, Blahm has been a very polite person on these boards, and some of his recent comments have been quite on the mark - for example his quip that Obama's speech writer ought to have won the Nobel recently. Although, I'm curious how much Barack relies on speech writers. Having said all this, cracks about my age or maturity won't slight me. It may influence others, and if that's your goal, Kev, so be it. As for posting art, my work may not be high quality yet, but I do post updates more often than you. I've been going through Jon Hardesty's sketchbook recently and it occured to me you could have said the same sorts of things to him back in 2002. Enough, I apologize, and I'll won't tease you again.

Hunchback, snowboarding is AWESOME! I've been dying waiting for it to snow enough to go out >_<

Update on the weather here, it's been snowing lightly almost non-stop but it's not sticking and most of the snow on the ground has melted. Which sucks, I was looking forward to the snow.

I live in Greeley, and literally everyone here (myself included) says that there is no such thing as normal weather. Last thursday, it was pretty warm and sunny out. Two days after that: old man winter decided to stop by early. I happened to be in Denver that same evening it snowed, and by the time I left (midnight), almost all the snow had completely melted.

Sometimes we get rain, fog, snow, and sun in the same day.

I woke up today and I could've sworn I saw everything coated in frost. But apparently, there was none. Now I don't know if I was dreaming or not >_>.

I hope it does snow, I love how it's quiet outside and distant sounds are muffled. It's nice to lay in the snow ^^.

No snow here yet, as far as I know. I'm glad. Autumn passes too quickly for my liking. We did get some crazy frost though.

    Cool, TASmith!

Three weeks ago I was sweating my ass of and had to sleep on the couch because sleeping in the loft bed was impossible. Now it's nearly 0°C and I wear my winter coat plus bum gloves all day. And, oh coincidence: Our shower decided that it's too much work to produce hot water. Should have been fixed this afternoon, will test tomorrow.

It snowed here in the first week of September

There's none at the moment, however, but we'll see...
