    Getting there.

This is a painting I did for a short film. It will also be used for the poster. Took about three days with one day's concepts and mockups which I'll post on my sketch thread.

Oh, it's oil on canvas and 1mx700.

    Hope you like.

Here's a digital environment concept I've been working on. Currnetly working on exapnding it to give more scope.

    Feedback welcome.

    Hey man,
the mood on the first one is fantastic. The suggestive brushstrokes feel aptly in place. Nice Job.

I really like them. My only problem is I feel the signature demands too much attention from the painting, being that it's so large bold and in the brightest colour on the canvas.

    The End

Right, i've decided to abandon this one. Guess it's pretty complete, but if i didn't call it, I would have been busy with this indefinitely.

    Hope you like.

I really dig that first painting - great concept, the composition works for the idea and the 'handwriting' of the painting is exactly right for what you have to say in this piece.

    The Ark

Here's a personal concept which wil hopefully grow into a full-blown narrative, we shall see. At the moment is only exists as a ton of scribbled notes, but it's a start.

Not an overly complicated drawing, the main purpose is to get a method going. Slowly but surely this is happening, so hopefully there will be more and better work coming soon.

    Shanna

This is a big oil portrait, the dodgy/creepy eyes are residue from a previous painting on the canvas...

    Cape of Storms

This is an ink piece I did of Table Mountain. Not the usual tourist scene, but rather more reflective of the mountain's actual disposition.

The first one has a really nice design.

I think you're being too vague on your other pieces though... all pro level environments tend to use hard edged strokes with precision... I see lots of blurred shapes in your images.

    More Inkingness!

Right, here's a coupla more drawings I just did, they're all Indian ink on Fabriano, some done with dipping pen, others done with brush.

Those portraits are seriously intense and moody. Jeez I'm ashamed to look at my own work now.
