    Really Nice stuff mate.
A question how did you get the shading under your eyes? it makes them look so real i really love the rough sketchy look you achieve with the ink

Impressive stuff, the colour studies are a great idea i think and the volume of drawing is what leads to a great skill set at the end of the day. Keep it up and I'll keep an eye on it!

Really cool looking SB! I like your ink wash a lot. How much does your Sketchbook paper weigh (the thickness), btw?

I'm making mess here: Sketchbook .

You are magic with ink my friend! Still probably my favorite sketchbook - and surprisingly you haven't followed suite and joined the droves of button-pushing digital artists on this site.

Just a quick question on your process - do you generally complete an entire sketch and then come in over the top with your wash, or is it all (sketch, hatching, wash) done simultaneously?

Every time I look at the celt, my eyes go directly to the shoulder. If I try to look at the helmet or anywhere else, it doesnt take long before im back at the shoulder.

    love this SB!

BranFlakes thanks my friend- I`ve done a couple digital paintings and sometimes I still do- but working traditional is sooooooo much more satisfying

Strange, from how i look at it (based on what you showed here), i find that your imagination figure is stronger than one from observation. The last two (figure studies) are quite nice though.
Your sketchbooks is still awesome as usual I might trade them with money, you know Just kidding.

unholy shit ... that view of the channel came out very nice , struck a something in my skull trough my eyes O_O

and the digital painting over watercolor under-painting, sweet ... i like to do that now and then ... can't replace the wonderful effects you get with that watercolor wash

    keep at it

nice sketches but compared to ur ink work ur pencil sketches seem dull in comparison, in terms of proportion they look fine tho
