Really Nice stuff mate.
A question how did you get the shading under your eyes? it makes them look so real i really love the rough sketchy look you achieve with the ink
amazing stuff & its helping me.....
Hideyoshi appreciate it- thx
B-Man thanks for the kind words
unnamed.devic ...at the moment I use some Ink i bought in a supermarket in japan for 3$ ... but I don`t have any favorite indian ink..
abhorsen950 which eyes?
..here a bunch for this weeks chow "the celt" Im going with the second last pose..
I hope I van finish on time- I want to paint my character in oils... and I have also some comissions running.. anyway
Impressive stuff, the colour studies are a great idea i think and the volume of drawing is what leads to a great skill set at the end of the day. Keep it up and I'll keep an eye on it!
Just general eyes on a few of the images youve done what looks like lines acrosse them for shading.
But how do you give yourself Direction?
Excellent new stuff
Wonderful sketch book!
You are magic with ink my friend! Still probably my favorite sketchbook - and surprisingly you haven't followed suite and joined the droves of button-pushing digital artists on this site.
Just a quick question on your process - do you generally complete an entire sketch and then come in over the top with your wash, or is it all (sketch, hatching, wash) done simultaneously?
abhorsen950 ..I`m sure you heard this a couple times before- but you have to forget that you want to draw eyes or that you`re drawing eyes at the moment ; you just have to draw them... he he he i hope it makes sense
gdlr merci beaucoups- très gentil!
unnamed.device Rawwww hanks.. I will I will
witcrack 70 g/m²
BranFlakes thanks my friend- I`ve done a couple digital paintings and sometimes I still do- but working traditional is sooooooo much more satisfying
....for the most part it`s done simultaneously but I always start with my drawing pen
Pixie Trick krel he he he
Krato ... just inks
my chow187 entry "the celt"
Ink wash, painter , photoshop, it was hard to keep the energy and expression of my sketch.
loving ur sketchbooks, really creative and appealing way of composing the drawings on the page

Wow. I really look up to your ink drawings.
Thanks for the inspiration!

i really like the association of your thin pen and watercolors, keep on sharing!
s i m o n
unholy shit ... that view of the channel came out very nice , struck a something in my skull trough my eyes O_O
and the digital painting over watercolor under-painting, sweet ... i like to do that now and then ... can't replace the wonderful effects you get with that watercolor wash
keep at it
witcrack yeah you`re right- thats because I attempted to this course
DANKA thanks- no watercolours just ink washes
bouroune yo thanks man
Giorge thanks. yeah digital has absolutely no chance against traditional stuff
here some 5 min figure sketches...
Sorry for the lack of updates but I`m very yery busy
nice sketches but compared to ur ink work ur pencil sketches seem dull in comparison, in terms of proportion they look fine tho
