Hallo everyone. My name's mr-roi a.k.a Roy Friedman.
I'm 16 years old and I live in Israel. Err... I've been drawing for about a year and a half or something like that. That's about all I can say about myself...
Feel free to crit me! I need it.

Looking forward to a better looking
Mmmm... dragon heads... trying to change the perspective a bit.
And a full dragon....
Thanks miycko I think everyone loves dragons. Dragons in general, I mean xD
Okay! Some silhouetted figure drawings. Tried some new poses and stuff.
Full dragon colored!~
Good start, your dragon's are looking good. Keep drawing those posemanics, they are a great warm up.
Yes, dragons are looking good! Keep up the studies, I'll drop by every now and again.
Insanity is the key!
Also, studies are a key. And passion is a key. Also, so are inspiration, motivation and dedication. Talent can be a key. Insomnia can also be a key, depression is a sad rusty little key. Damn, artists need one hell of a keyring.

Haha, thanks guys. Will keep on drawing both the dragons and the posemaniacs XD.
Mmmm, worked a bit more on it... need feedback, please.
Heya, nice sketchbook. You've got some pretty sweet dragons here but (like everyone) have some areas in which you can improve.
In post #4, you do some playing around with dragon head angles. Despite the "bloody hell" and "blargh" comments, I think they're all decent, if a few need more refining. The only one I really have trouble seeing is the one across from bloody hell, which I cannot for the live of me figure out the angle on. I think you tried to make it facing towards the viewer breathing fire, but the head got smushed up funny. He's the only one that looks really "wrong" or "off."
One thing you might want to try doing is instead of making a page full of different angles and different dragon heads, you make one page with the same dragon head from different angles. While I love seeing the variety and types of dragons, I think that would give you a better understanding of the angles for a dragon's head.
Your full dragon is pretty awesome. The only thing I'd really say that could could work on is the wing angles. The way they look now, they seem to fold over more like a feathered wing would, as oppose to a more dragon-like bat-type wing. Something you could do there is look at bat wings and do some references sketches.
Jessica "neondragon" Peffer has a book about how to draw dragons. They're far more anime-like or cartoon like then yours, but if you took a look at it she goes over the styles of dragon shapes, wings, and structure which could be helpful.
Keep up the great work!
Woah, thanks Taven. Really needed crits.
Also, that head was the only one I wasn't satisfied with, which is why I wrote "blargh" XD
I'll definitely repay the favor. Thanks a bunch, mate.
Ahh, I mistook your "blargh" for the head furthest down on the bottom, and it didn't look at all "blargh" to me! That makes more sense, then.
Any constructive criticism you can give me is also greatly appreciated! I know I have a long way to go.
Blech, posemaniacs.... around 15 mins, each.
I like your dragons Your triceratops one looks like the baby triceratops from that disney movie Lol nostalgia
Keep doing posemaniacs brudda, they are usefullllllll
Hey there menjah Lol thanks.
Sea Horse ftw. Really nothing special >_>
you seem to have nice skills for your age and for someone that started drawing for a year+. Keep up studying hard, doing all the boring but precious anatomy studies and try to make your lines cleaner.
See ya & thnx for stopping by my sketchbook
(try to place the link to your sketchbook, in your signature), i was lucky i found your sketchbook
For your "blech" from posemaniacs, you might want to consider sketching using a a finer line, if you're trying to work on anatomy. If you're working on value/shading, then a thicker line like you used is great. Anatomy wise, I think you need you need the curve from the breast up to the shoulder defined. I drew it in quick on red, you see that shape in anatomy a lot. Your arms are too rectangular, curve it more to give it a more organic feel. Emphasise the joining at the elbow more, which after you add the curves to the arms might actually not need much... The leg you had was pretty good, I'd just accent further where it folds back under itself. You got the torso and leg shape really nice, at least!
On the second one... Well, you need to emphasise the turn of the torso better. Hey, at least your upper arm on the close arm is curved nicely!
On the older sketches, your anatomy needs work, but the difference from the first few posted to the girl with a knife is impressive, you're improving.
I'm too lazy to review the rest in detail.
I'd say keep at work on your anatomy (yeah, yeah, I know everyone says that), and keep trying to use reference and/or draw from life. Dragons are always good, too. ;D
kingkostas - Thanks. (I'll fix that, lol)
Taven- Hey, man, thanks again, Will try and remember that advice :]
Many updates, I like it! Keep studying and you'll do fine. Btw, I like the dragons!
Please check out my SB and give me some critic/tips/anything if you've time!
