    cintiq21ux screen protector

I have just about decided to buy a 21ux, but there is still one issue that is nagging me- the possibility of scratches. Should I buy a screen protector to cover that? and if so, which one? the goal would be to retain a good drawing surface while being scratch free.

    thanks for any answers

I see nobody answer to this, but let me try.
I don't own one, but as i read over past years old cintiq21ux had better glass so skratches were minimum, new one tend to get skratches more, so my advice is to buy one.
At the end all things get skratches during some time so you must be careful, especially if it is expensive like cintiq21ux.

    Hope this help a bit

Hi, I don't have a cintiq, maybe I can't help much, but I've read someone who has a cintique; and that person use a glove instead of screen protector.

The glove only covers partial area of your hand, as far as I remember, the only finger it covers is the pinky finger.

I hope that info helps. ^^

I havd a CintiQ 12, I consider to apply a protector on it too, but I didn't, I called Wacom, and what they say is, not suppose to do so, CintiQ lost the paper like coating after protector applied, well, drawing pen touch feeling is quit important for me, I draw directly to the screen now, and if there are scratches on it after, I'll send it back to Wacom before warranty expired

The new Cintiqs do scratch quite easily - a screen protector is recommended. Nushield sell ones specifically for the 21X and 12WX.
