    Icon Movie Optimus Prime

Finally I think I have something that can go in the finished section of CA

What we have here is a redesign of Optimus Prime from the new movie-verse. I also brought back the 'powermaster' concept that was used for a short time in the toy series and comics. This incarnation of Prime is a k100 modified COE with a fuel tanker trailer. The tractor combines with the trailer to form the new robot mode.

I wanted to reinvision the old Powermaster Optimus in the new movie format. This is just part of building my portfolio.

You'll probably see more comic pages than concept art in here

Excellent take on the underused Powermaster concept. I would like to see more stuff like this.

    Thanks for the comments guys!

Fightingseraph- I also want to explore some of the original pretender characters. And maybe put it all in a short comic.

Hey TGping! It's always nice to see a familiar face, so-to-speak.

This turned out great, dude. You have a good blend of traditional G1 Optimus with the new movie style. I wouldn't mind seeing this in a future sequel, even though I'm perfectly happy with the official movie Optimus design.

Very nice but you copped out on the sword. You challenged yourself with the entire form but chose a straight side view for his weapon. Would make a nice painting if you choose to take it further.

Jason- would you recommend I redo the sword, or make sure to not take the easy way on future work? Actually, I may rework this when I have the proper tools to make it a painting, great idea!

I was going to recommend the same thing. Come back later when feel like it. Use that fresh artistic energy on something else. Keep up the good work.
