    Sexy Borg pin-up

This piece was a cover assignment for PC Gamer Sep 09 issue, but it never got used so I decided to play with the image a bit. Inspired by the old school Janet Jackson Rolling Stone Cover. Hand drawn and painted in PS using Cintiq. Total time approx = 12 hours.

    Cheers,

Lovely overall look. I'm a little confused as to the relative positioning of her forearms. Being shorter leads me to think they are forward or backward, but the lower muscalature tells me otherwise.

Of course, still amazing work on any level.

    Cool

But I think the light that divides the hands from the forearms are a bit confusing. At first I didn't see what the hands were supposed to look like...

    Thanks for the comments.
Blue and tobba, yeah I can see where I got carried away with the dodge and hotspots.

I normally don't work this way. I consider myself pretty old-school in approaching concept art. The piece was a little exercise to see how much Photoshop "dazzle" I could use.

Mike, glad you liked the tutorial. It's a pretty standard digital process. But I always try to emphasize drawing skills over software skills.
