    Studies, studies, studies!
    And they're paying off.
Comparing from the first page to that one you've put up now just shows that. I love the girl's face too her skin is nicely done, I was going to say watch out on how you render eyes though since I've been working on the same problems myself.

Anyways- Keep up the good work!

i really like your digis, your knowledge on colors is great, but i guess you need to do more pencils. your lack of knowledge about wrinkles on clothing, anatomy and facial structure is quiet obvious. and damn. i think you could have postet this very same critique in my sb.....

yeah you're right i do need to update my sb, but i hardly have anything to update it with :s, your doing good your last painting, the one with the sailor, you used your colors pretty nicely, but the legs on the sailor are really flat and all the solid dark lines right next to the lighter lines make the clothing on the characters seem less believable, you should try and smooth out the transition from light and dark.

with the exception of your face studies, your faces are really flat. For instance the painting with the 5 faces the guy in the bottom left.. the way you have the values on his head makes it look like its 5 inches wide.. the bald man the lighting doesn't look to good.. for some reason the dim light is hitting his face but not his eyes or forehead? the bald guy looking up his anatomy is really weird and you should do studies with faces looking up.. the guy with the weird nose also looks.. weird.. only the girl in the middle looks somewhat decent though her nose needs some more work.

you repeat many of those same errors in your goblin piece and the lighting seems to extreme.. plus the secondary lighting isn't picking up the features on the other side of his face to well.

your still lifes picked up the colors well however they are a little to textured

now on a more positive note, your study with the girl with the red reflecting light.. that looks really good you picked up her face well along with the red lighting and the enviro on the bottom has nice lighting.
