fudgeloaf - Thanks man! But "push it more" doesn't really mean anything to me tough
Loathsome - Thanks bro. You're right about the light on the heads, I fixed 'em some to make it more consistent but I really don't want to put any more light on them because they aren't that important. Thanks for the feedback!
    Unlink40 - Thanks!

Trying to keep this thread alive somewhat. Here's a commission thing I started tonight, the guy wanted a pinup but I steered him more into a illustrationish thing. I think it's more fun to do, less cliché. Poison Ivy from Batman.

Man your actual piece is awesome! Maybe some green or red would push it to the limit. It needs more mood, the composition is good imo. Keep that up. Great stuff dude.

Nice work man. I really like the dude with all the arms, such a cool image and I like that it tells a bit of story as well. Poison Ivy is looking good too, looking forward to seeing her finished.

Hey bro, Poison Ivy is great! =) Really like the leafy atmosphere you made in the piece =) That is an interesting crop you made for the finished piece, I'm not sure whether I would've made it a bit more centred, but it is interesting still =) The drawing for Harley gives a nice comp imho, really like that =) And I think you nailed her expression, would be just how I imagine her a bit naughty you know =) Great work in any case, think your figures are improving and you're getting the hands pretty good too =)

    hi dude

i stumbled across you sb, i can see improvement over pages

i liked many of your works

the last poison ivy post seems .... not your of level (sorry if i'm too honest)

did u used some referencing ?

some minor proportions issues: long neck, little big head ...

composition should be better (she is too far left and lack attitude)

i'm a bit harsh coz i saw your earlier works and you have talent can be taken further more

    good luck with your nexts

So here's HQ finished. Also a shitty 30min portrait thing. I'm really missing doing more studies every day. I'm on the brink of quitting my shit job so I can paint more.

Great updateage, Alex =) Painting skillz coming a long nicely!

To me there's a bit of a proportion issue with the heads on poison ivy and harley - kinda look a bit big or stylized, not sure if you were going for that!

Hey alexson Harley's looking good, nice texture on the costume. I'd add a shadow under that middle bobble/bell thingy and darken the left hand side of her white neck piece it's looking a bit flat and floaty, a few random colour variations would look nice as well

Yeah, fuck that job, just paint, and draw too =) Harley is awesome bro! =) The flame effects really add to her personality, think you did a sweet job on her costume too =) Maybe a bit more sparkle in her eyes, and a touch of lip gloss, just ideas =) Nice job in any case =) Keep up the awesome! =)

The Kitty looks good I especially like the punk face and expression you gave her nice clean lines... couple of suggestions though, make her weist wider its more attractive, her right hand with the whip is too short so is the left, the wrists should be about the line with the crutch, her legs seem to be off compared to the torso, keep up the hard work man.

Nice color and sense of form in your paintings!
Take care of the different kind of materials.
In the last painting the materials like the leather look great, but in the two before it is all the same rendering in my opinion ^^

    Keep going!

The harley quinn piece looks awesome and the catwoman peice reminds me of adam hughes.
I think your color could use a little work. I think the colors on harley look good, but i think the skin tones on ivy and catwoman are a little flat, and the shadow color seams like just a darker more saturated version of the light tone. One thing you could try is shifting the hue and saturation more between light and shadow a little more or finding different ways of manipulating color temperature. Also throwing some more color variations here and there might help too.

Your doing great work, keep it up!
