    [ste] - Thanks bro!
    lilnebo - Thanks
Benjie - Thanks! I've been neglecting anatomy studies lately while I've been doing heads. No good!
    Danny_K - thanks
    xbert -
    emperor_boy - cheers!

Man, finally back from vacation, been drawing some today and yesterday. Need to buy more of that cheap copy paper, to expensive to always use sketchbooks.

    Some heads.

Some skintones. Left one from photo, middle I reffed color from the photo on my own figure, and the right one on my own figure with no reference. Did real quick figures for these so the anatomy is way off.

pepew pew art explosion. Good studies man! Your colors are looking a lot better! One thing that has helped me drawing the head in angles a little better is thinking of it as simply as possible, cubes work best, then just mark off the features in perspective and start 'sculpting' them in. Keep up all the hard work dude man!

Nice updates; I recommend buying newsprint paper - it's fairly cheap, large, and comes with hundreds of pages, great for sketching.

Nice updates here, great to see you practicing heads. Your brushwork in your environment pieces is ace as well.

Yeah, getting the proportions exactly right on a head can be tricky. But you're doing the studies, so you'll get it in no time.

I know what you mean with time is just flying when drawing, my time flies a well. But I think you accomplish a lot in that amount of time still
Figures look good and nice lighting on those painted faces.
As for the blurriness in enviros, the best tip I got which has really help me, was only to use 100 opacity and flow, you have to be careful with the colors, but the outcome is usually much better, it was at least for me.

Color, wip still obviously. Tried to start with black and white but I suck at that technique, always ends up me having to paint everything twice.

    hi dude,
I write here cause i dont know if u see my answer if i reply on my sketchbook
mostly I start directly with some colours, ( but same procedure if i go in black and white) and when i have all the values and the anatomy roughly done, so im sure of how will come the piece, i start adding details and stronger lights, which is the funny side for me.
so details i do in the ending part, but i never start in black and white to turn in colours from a while, im tryin to keep the same approach from beginning to ending.

btw thanks for your feedback, and congrats, see u r improvin too, and u r doin tons of studies =) are u planning to do some portfolio pics in this days? im curious to check your new stuff

    =)

Nice studies again Heads from imagination are pretty good. I like the eye monster, but something seems a bit off to me with his back leg. Maybe it's the inner thigh, too wide, maybe push the hoof back a bit. The eyes look really cool.

dude I really like this last character, I did a quick paint over (kind of) I just lassoed his right leg and right hand to be a bit smaller so they are going more into space. Keep it up man, you are exploding!

    Looking nice Alex!!
Insane amount of studies you´re kicking out and it really show´s on you´re work.
About the chow, the light source is very inconsistent atm it is especially visible on the eyes with the strong reflect light.
The design looks wicked though so keep it up
