Just drew this to see if i could render a decent face without a reference.
I spent about three hours but gave up after being unable to figure the jaw right.
First attempt at drawing a person in photoshop and well a person from my imagination all year.
I like the eyes but i can tell the nose is off and something important is wrong.

second attempt at trying to render a facelike object in photoshop.
I drew a couple of sketches and decided to flesh them out tonight and just got caught doing this one for 3 hours. -_-
This was my third attempt at drawing with Photoshop today and i donut know how but i managed to actually finish it :I
pretty low quality but this thread is more about technical skill than presentation so mmm:
Also i can't decide to colour it or not.

Nice pictures! I love the masks just as they are, but the beauty of working with a digital program is that you can preserve the original artwork. Don't be afraid to experiment.
On the man picture: he looks basically okay to me. Perhaps the problems you mean are a general flatness of certain features. The nose looks round, but it actually sits on the face flatly (as in, it is pointing off to the left if we could see him IRL) when perhaps you should be able to see the top of the nostrel on the other side to better give that sense of depth. Just a slight hint. The filtrum (dip under the nose, above the lips) looks like it's sitting directly under his right nostrel as well. Move it a little to the right.
EDIT: Oh, and don't think there's enough room for his mouth and chin.
