    Max's Sketchbook

Hi, I've been looking at the fantastic work on this site for a while now and I thought it was time that I started a sketchbook, so here I go.

    Attachment 784215
Vampire design, going for a sort of Nosferatu/shark look.
    Pencil on paper.

    Attachment 784275
This is a concept for a Flasher/monster pervert creature for a short film.
    Ink on paper.

Please let me know what you think, as harshly as you like! I want to improve my skills and keep on drawing.

    Thanks very much,
    Max

Hi, thanks a lot no87, here's an old oil painting, it's meant to look really garish and OTT.

Heh, promising stuff. Like you drawing technique. That last oilpainting was cool allthough I don't think the style of the witch works with the rest.

    Keep it up!

I like your sketch style. Have you made any of these movies or are you just concepting for them? I'ld like to see the fox one. It was pretty weird. The idea of breaking wooden eyes kinda freaks me out.

Very good start! I get a morbid feeling from looking at your stuff, especially the jelly-babies... I know they will come for me.

The Nosferatu is my favorite so far.

Hi, HumbleHenk, thanks very much, I hate that painting, the witch is from snow white and the seven dwarfs, so it is an intentionally different style. I'm just putting up some old stuff so that I am forced to look at it and Improve, it's quite painful at times.

donalfall, thanks, I have made some of these films, film making is what I really want to do. You can have a look at them here: http://www.youtube.com/user/swintex

Keeviin, thanks a lot, the jelly baby's are harmless really, you'll be ok.

Nice work! I love that headless sitting nude. You're off to a great start.
