Philippe Le Miere's Sketchbook of Dreams

Since reading a lot of C G Jung's works about three months ago, I've been keeping a regular dream sketch diary.

I now have a nice little collection of dream sketches and thought I'd share a few examples on ConceptArt.org's Sketchbooks forum.

... and a couple more examples

I scan the sketches in every so often and upload them all to my website (http://lemiere.com/index.php/collect...tegory&catid=1).

    Charcoal renderings

The dream sketch diary has been great for making me drawing at least fifteen minutes every day. It's also been a fantastic source for dipping into for ideas. Occasionally I'll take some of the ideas within the dream sketches and work them up in charcoal.

    Painting sketches

The next step for me has been to develop a technique for further working up these dream sketches in oil paint. Of course unlike the simplicity of a line drawing, I now have the added factor of thinking about tone and color.
