Red face Lidiya's SB - Possible Road to Perfection ;)

Hi guys, I'm a 14 yr old freshman in HS and I'm pretty new to the community, and I would like to learn and recieve tips, inspirations, ect ect. I would like to do daily sketches, and stuff, just to get better.
I hope to be a Concept Artist --> then into Art Director! :]
For some industry, maybe Massive Black!
So... heres some realism done about 2 yrs ago, that I did in community college. I can't go there anymore due to budget cuts, ect ect.
    Done about a year ago.

13?! Wooooooow. You're going to be amazing by the time you're old like me

I really am impressed with the Bargue statue.

    Rock on! Great start!

O god thread died, I'm so slow on these updates, school stinks
I'm working on a contest entry, winner gets 500$, slim chance I'll win.
    I don't win often, o well.

I made the greatest mistake of putting watercolor on canvas and trying to also put colored pencil on it :|
    It's a wolf, I have a stock image which I took myself.
Image is large, so I got a small portion of it.
i wanna make it look like this but you know... better

Wow, what a talent! If you stay motivated and keep pushing yourself for the next few years, you'll be a rock-star, I think. Keep drawing, but don't forget to enjoy yourself.

    Will be watching this!

Haven't updated in a while, wolf is going semi-good, I'm not very expieranced in oils so it's turning out so-and-so.
Been inspired lately, so decided to do a master copy of Napoleon Crossing the Alps, by Jacques-Louis David.
Really like his work, and that sort of style. Chose the version of the painting with the darker shadows.
Proving to be challenging, I like challenges. I hate horse faces.

Wow, are you seriously 13? I'm 18 and I'm only just getting started! As the others said you'll be a superstar if you keep drawing like that. Oh well, I have to get back to my circles and cubes!

    Hi, mild update :]
This is a picture, for a commission, less serious, a commission from a very shameful place
O well, I'm really inspired by pin-ups and comic artists right now.
Made aweful coloring mistakes, that I did in the past, will try to fix them.
    comments?

The wolf for the contest thing wasn't finished due to the amount of time the paint dries, so I did a colored pencil, marker, and watercolor one.

Feel like a self portrait tommorow :]

    Hi ilidiya welcome to Conceptart.org
13 years old?, excellent time to start seriously with drawing, I tell you this because of my experience, I started at 14, now I'm 18 and there's been an improvement but IT'S NEVER ENOUGH.
    So my advices to you:
    1) Don't be afraid to scratch the paper as much as you need till you get the correct gesture.
2)After you've got the gesture, you can proceed with the structure, at the end of this step your drawing must look full of life, in other words must look nice....if not repeat and repeat.
3)Only after these steps you should start defining the details of your drawing, and later values, and color.

So right now avoid rendering and try to focus entirely in gesture and structure, can be hard but it's worth.

This is when drawing from mind, but when you're drawing with a model or from life I suggest to study the model and forget about canons, because all the information that you need is what you got in front of you, therefore all symbol that struggle against that should be ignored.

This Community has helped me a lot, and I'm sure they'll help you too.

Take Care, And Keep it up!

PS: By the way Nice SB
