    Painter 11 windows 7 anyone?

A cousin said to me that windows 7 was awesome and fast, but dont know how many new bugs of painter 11 will jump on, or who knows maybe they dissapear like mac leopards by magical fairy blood.

hahahahhaah but i really dont think so.

    Have anyone tried it yet?

I did. as soon as 11 came out I installed the trial on 7. I have to say, a lot of the bugs people were reporting I didn't get at all on 7. Even before the patch came out. Most notably the random brush dabs with artists oils. The only major issue I had with 11 was that it would spike my CPU to 50% every time I was on it, so I won't buy it till I get a new box. And that won't be till win 7 comes out.

Nice it seems runs smoothly, i will probably get windows 7 then, sometimes its annoying, that you are in painter and change to another programs, you turn back, and the tablet jams, so you had to press the window button on the keyboard, sometimes gets to annoying, like when you open the control B brush thing and all the windows move diferntly and mess up all your workspace, hope they took this out on windows 7

    may be i must say
of the PC there i try painter 11 with windows 7 i don't have any other programs
because my PC is slow and i don't want to embarrass the PC
when i work in painter i have started only winamp and works ok
the problems with painter are when i started many other programs
finally i can say windows 7 is good very better from vista
we will see the final version

I am working with Windows 7 RTM since a month or so and everything works simply great, Painter 11 too, on both 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows. I have a Wacom Intuos 3 and no problems at all. I would really reccomend updating to Windows 7

I ran the Painter 11 trial on Win7.
I also have Painter IX.5 on the same OS.

IX.5 is a lot faster on it than Painter 11.
Actually, my IX.5 ran faster on WinXP.
I'm don't think the OS is causing the problem though. I suspect it's my graphics card (Radeon 4650).
I certainly did have less Painter issues with my old Nvidia 6600GT

I'm defenitely not buying any painter version before version 12 comes out.
I am really happy with Win7 though
