Wow man, you're working hard. Keep it up and you'll definitely be noticing the improvement.
Nothing much to say, maybe you could throw in a few more studies here and there? Either way it's looking good and you seem to be on the right track. Cool stuff.

Fuck nicky, you're tearing shit up lately. you're making my bladder weak, i need to really get my game together. Really awesome work the past coupla' pages. The jellyfish/diver image reminds me a lot of a Fear Agent cover Tony Moore did --> http://tonymooreillustration.com/gal...?g2_itemId=489

Maybe looking at that could give you some new ideas for coloring and fleshing it out.

Keep it up sir, you're a beast!

AustenFM - haha thanks dude! and holy shit, that cover is almost exactly what i started.. i guess im not as original as i thought ha.

    ---------------

uuuuuhhhggg i feel retarded from lack of sleep and painting a hole through my heart. i cant be stopped though! heres my first screen capture. from the movie The Wolfman, with Benicio Del Toro. when i compare it to the original, it looks like shit. thats why im not posting the original in here haha.

Nice study man!! On that space marine looking dude, I think the piece might benefit if you showed more definition of the underlying planes and forms of his actual suit, rather than all of the surface details. It feels a little difficult to read a focal point. But I love that your pushing the mechanical design details, it's always a tricky thing to get right. Keep it up man you're making some sweet progress!!

You're making huge strides as of lately (3-5 pages), the comic-style illustration is starting to fall in place. Your digital pieces are starting to look great, but you need to work on some landscapes, as well as some anatomy..posemaniacs, you know.

sorry if i came off harsh, i like when people are honest with me, all in the spirit of getting better

    ...the imperfections make it interesting...

    Hey Nicky!

Imo, your anatomy is amazing already. Always good gestures, expressions, movement, etc. What I think you could improve on is composition in regards to value. For example the banners is 796 are great in the linework stage, but the values are too similar throughout--very similar middle greys. More contrast will make not only the forms of the figures more believable, but also create a more attractive visual. The sea dweller, FMA piece, landscape thumbnails, and dragon-slug are getting there, but still seem a bit flat. Perhaps looking at Rembrandt will be good: his paintings focus so much on value and light.
