I've just recently completed a BFA at my local art university, but I'm really considering going for a BAA in Illustration at Sheridan.
It's been a while since I've had to put together a portfolio application for a school, and I was wondering something... It says on the website not to work off of photos, but in the portfolio requirements it says I can include a certain number of original works. I use photo reference for a lot of my illustration work. What should I do? Do they just want generic things like still-lifes and model drawings? And are they only looking for traditional media? I work with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a little bit.
Thanks for any advice!
