I love this guy (been subscribed to his you tube channel for more than a year) and I'm glad that a game company is finally bringing a game out using it. I have the goggles ready and waiting.

The first application is useful. The other is not.

The EA/Steven Spielberg title "Boom Blox" was the game which was originally supposed to use the head-tracking technology. Unfortunately, they announced only four days after this video hit YouTube that it would be dropped from the final product. Shame. Doesn't mean someone else can't still use it though.

I disagree. Even when you go to see a 3D movie, you can't move your head to the side to look at what's behind a certain object. You can do that with this setup. I'd argue that this is way more immersive, even without 3D polarized lenses. Not to mention that it opens up plenty more gameplay possibilities. You could have a first person shooter or boxing game that requires you to dodge in real life, for example.

Either way, Johnny Lee is a really cool guy who make some neat stuff, even beyond what he does with the WiiMote (the rest is here). I hear that Microsoft beat Nintendo to the punch and hired him to help them out with Natal.
