Been browsing this site for a month or so now, and thought I'd better actually get some work done and uploaded to here, as there are some great artists, and i am hoping that some will crit my work and i can get better!
I like all sorts of styles, and try and be a little versatile, but am probably not!
I am at work at the moment, so will get some stuff uploaded when i get home from night shifts!
Enjoy and let me know what you think!

OK, so here is the first lot of artwork that i could find around the house ... although I am missing a load ... and still trying to track that down ... but let me know what you think ... most of this is from when I was about 16-18.
The ladies are done from when i attended life drawing classes ... and looking forward to going again soon!

Have a few more updates, but at work, so cannot upload them here ... and have removed the bold ... sorry, its a habbit!
Cheers for the love!
yay studies. i love seeing these. ;]
as for the female vs. male study, the female hips are higher and much different than the males.
i would recommend you read and then copy/study Andrew Loomis' "Figure Drawing for All Its Worth" here and the Heads and Hands one is great too! if you want them in pdf, i'm sure you can find them via google.
it has helped me learn a lot about the figure and think in different ways than if i were doing it on my own. any Andrew Loomis book is worth your time :]
keep workin hard! ;]

OK, so finally managed to do some Bridgman studies whilst at work on night shifts ...
Hope they are ok ... I am going to do some more tonight, and hopefully some fun stuff I want to do as well! (Fanart of artists on here!)
Cheers guys, as always crits etc very welcome ... (BTW, the first page that shows is actually the second i did ... oops!)
Also, got myself a tutor from the tutor area on here, and I shall post that work as well ... its the last ones of eyes!
Sorry for not updating in a while, life sometimes gets in the way.
Well, two weeks worth of life drawing classes, and haven't had much time otherwise, so here are some crappy sketches i did at work!
The first one is a 30 min.
Second and third are some overlap pictures i tried.
The first two male ones were meant to be done like tetris, were you fit the pics in as well as you can on two sheets!
Then the last male is of a 35 min pose.
Wohoo, nice start! Just keep doing lots and lots of sketches and studies
Cheers PieterV, every spare minute, im doing all i can!
Cheers Sam, I think thats one area i am messing up in!
Cheers for the help
Wohoo,more art style~~~ i like 4#,5#~~~~~~~~~~
Congratulations you've been working hard, but I think the main issue you should take care is gesture, you're not scratching enough. If you haven't solve that you'll be committing the same mistakes that I am.
Hey hey Norris, Finally getting around to visiting your sketch book! Liking what I see too, especially in the post you made with the eyes there. It's where I think I see the most improvement and I reckon it's because you've thrown in some straighter lines, rather than making everything all soft and round like in some of your previous stuff. I think that's a big thing, is to find your confidence with making some stronger angles and that will define your work more. Nice work though
Ok, so here is an update, and sorry its been so long ... so many things sadly get in the way, but im back and hopefully I will be getting a load done soon, so here goes with the update!
Mostly from my life drawing classes, and a few from random doodles! Enjoy!
Sorry about the crap pics, but scanner is broke, and computer probs as always!
hey i really like your colored work your use of values ant tones looks good my crit would be to try and capture the subtlety and gradual change in skin tone a little more unless of course you are going for the more stylized look good work keep posting your stuff and thanks for stoppin by my sb
