Play the soap opera name game:

If you were a soap opera character, what would your name be?
Well, your first name would be your real middle name. And your last name would be the name of the street you grew up on (or the name of the street you live on now,)

So my Soap Opera name would be Alex Roosevelt.

    Play along people!

Usually this is the formula used to determine your porn star name. As an alternative, the name of your first pet can also be used. Never heard it related to Soap Operas...must be the PG version.

No, the porn star's formula: First Name: The name of your first pet. Last Name: Your mother's maiden name.

this sucks for people who live in places that favour numbered streets.

For instance, I would be Blaine One-Hundred-And-Fourth. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

Now that's a name. Sounds like I should be wearing a manly sweater and sucking on a pipe while I groom my white mustache.

I didn't live very long anywhere when I was growing up. Thumbs up for a small part of SA naming their streets after ancient Greeks.

Using the formula will only yield this name: Lulu Richards.

Doesn't sound like a guy name. Or even worse. Sounds like a tranny name!

I guess it could look like that to foreigners!
But I doubt my fellow natives would agree, as my last name (street name) actually means "salmon creek"
