The dream of an elephant
Hello you guys.
Well, I'm 16 years old and live in Berlin.
I discovered this forum and was completely amazed by the work of most artists here.
I draw since i was able to hold a pencil but I just did it because it was a lot of fun to me, but now I really want to learn how to draw.
I hope I'll get some advice of some of those great artist in this forum.
(by the way ... sorry for my lousy english)
This should be enough of writing ... now it comes to the important things

So far what I can tell you is to try to be looser with the lines. Try to work in long sweeping loose lines that capture the gesture and movement of the figure instead of small and stiff "hairy" lines. This book by Mike Mattesi really helped me with my lines so you might want to take a look into it.

Do you think I should post nearly everything I draw, so that i would be able to post every day or should i just post some of my stuff as I did until now ?

I tried out a new technique while drawing the dog .... I played arroud with flow, brushes, opacity and stuff like that ....
Is it just a thing of experience or are there some rules which could help me to improove my cs technique a bit faster

You know what .... ?
I don't have to impress anyone, do I?
I think from now on I'll post every day .. at least 50% of the stuff I've done
Because actually my drawing skills are not willing to evolve .... that makes me sick, angry, everything...
I wanna get crazy, punch itin the face, stuff like that you know
I hope I'll get some comments....
Be patient and full of suspense ... sketches will follow .. every night

A lot of these are really good. Did you do the ones in the "Je T'Aime Berlin" gallery?
The ones with the model of that structure are really nice too. I'd like to see a photopaint matte of that structure done as some sort of alien mega-architecture.

You have a very nice sense of 3dimensional forms. it all comes down to drawing in the end, which you seem to enjoy. Which is great, but it would do you worlds of good to draw from life more often. whenever you get the chance, just use your own hand as a model. Draw hands and feet whenever you get the chance, trust me
Your graffiti work makes me wish i had never stopped, and maybe i should get back into it... hmm. Your enviros make mine look like a 5year old did them. very nice.
Draw different angles of your characters! these 3/4 poses are getting boring, and i know you know you can think about those shapes from ANY angle.
Keep it up!

Hey schöne Arbeiten hast du hier. Bist auf dem richtigen Weg. Mit 16 konnte ich noch nicht so zeichnen. Also nur schön weiterüben .
