Two images I did for my portfolio.
Not much to say about these, except I'm really enjoyed working on them. I really enjoy this graphic approach and look forward to doing more.
I intentionally did these fully analog/traditional, and I'm really digging slopping the paint around.
BTW( for anyone that still uses paints) .. I tested some Golden OPEN paints- which are basically acrylics that give a lot more working time- and they really give a lot of working time.. Some of the advantage of oils without the dangerous fumes.
I'm happier with the x-men piece.. I was happier with the Green Lantern more at the concept stages, something got lost in translation. If you'd like to see the work in progress check out my blog.
Crits and comments are appreciated.

I like the simple 'monotone' type colour schemes, and the second piece is alot stronger than the first.
The one are that is letting you down IMO, are some of the eyelines on the faces (and a mouth). They seem to skew abit and not sit properly on the form. Hope that makes sense.
The layouts and ideas I like, it's just some of the faces. The green green lantern has a crooked mouth, the dragon type character has very skewed eyes (these are the worst 2).
