    I'll post more tomorrow

    This one is half-old
I don't have much recent stuff. I'm practicing with my sketchbook at the moment.

I tried out drawing on cardboard paper.
Either my pencils are bad or the paper. So i tried my best to fix it up in photoshop so it kinda lost that texture feel.

I'd say some good works here. Needs a bit of work on perspective and figures, but overall good job.
Also, the last one, with that dinosaur looking thing, I like the concept, but whats up with just front legs? Is it a flat-foot...hahaha!

    Keep em' coming.

I'll post some more figures soon :] I'm always sketching stuff so I will. And I have no idea what happened to the dinosaur, haha.

Thanks a bunch for commenting :]

I'm sorry for not using the attachment thing but it didn't want to work properly for me ):

There are like 3-4 pages of lifedrawing that I left out because it took so long to scan everything...

    Smile

Unfortunately, a few of your images, such as the latest one, doesn't show up for me... From what I can see though, I really like this.
As previously mentioned, your figures need some work, but you are obviously working on it, so yeah. Keep going. c:
I really like a lot of your ideas here, and I think your colouring-technique looks pretty.

I got some weird error messages from the DA portfolio saying that the images aren't in the right filetype.. even though most of them are jpg files. Are there a lot of broken images or only a few? Which ones are broken? Hmm..

Well, thanks a lot for the comment and the feedback. Yeah.. I'm working hard on my anatomy (books) and such. I've only had like.. 5 lifedrawing lessons in my life so far. I go there once a week so I hope to feel the improvment coming :]

Actually that one that was broken for me earlier works now. Maybe the files are just heavy or something.

Not too bad man. But if you'll look around you'll notice that the most skillful artists here are those who study the most. Master your drawing skills first and then move to black&white rendering and after that to colors. You'll find a lot of useful post here for each of these stages. Good luck.

If you looked some in this thread you'd notice that I do.
Also, I have figure drawing once a week, which I also do online and at other places.
I don't really understand why I shouldn't be painting at the same time since that's a way for me to practice a lot of things.

How can I learn to paint if I don't paint?

edit: but yes there will be more studies soon, I usually do them traditionally

I've committed to make at least 5 to 10 figure drawings a day for a week. This is day one out of seven.

    FDW 5 and 6.

Day 6 is today and it's from life drawing class.

Figures drawn so far: 33 in 6 days out of 7.
I would have done more every day but work takes up a lot of time, sadly.

Towards the end of this first page, I noticed a nice pickup in your figure drawing skills. The 1 minute poses were pretty well done, for 1 minute poses anyway
Good work on the other figures, however, try to minimize the cartoon look when drawing faces/the human figure.

Sorry I didn't see you there.

Thanks a lot and I will try my best to better the faces. That's why I'm doing portraits now Also there's a reason to why I did that in one of them, it was around 3 or 4 am and I was super tired and since I focused on the body, I kinda left the head out.

    But yeah, I'll better hopefully.

    Thanks for the comment!

miycko: Thanks! Yeah I have a tendency of making people too short. I think it comes from the cartoony stuff I used to do. I hope my newer stuff is heading in the right direction!

Spaggen: Yeah I'm studying a lot right now. Tack för kommentaren

IronFistGoon: Thanks! Yeah I need to study some "master" people I've been thinking of doing it, I've just been busy with all this anatomy stuff that I forgot about it haha.

    some stuff and posemaniacs

Another friday with the sketch group.
Didn't turn out as productive as last week but i kinda like some of the sketches.

Here's some hand studies I was told to do on another forum. I'll do more of these 3d model studies later. It's all from posemaniacs and it's great because I can actually twist the model stuff around so that I can almost sculpt the stuff I study.
