I hope you have a good time in your cave, man. I look forward to seeing your muscularly body, all flexed and the sunshine bouncing off your oiled soaked pecs when you come back. Just keep up the intensity and studies! Foooouuundaaaatiiiiooons! Live long and prosper!

Ah crap.. sorry to hear that bro. I feel so lucky now to not having to deal with issues like this all the while studying.

Bro, painting from imagination is just awesome, only crit I would give it maybe would be more of a jaw.

In any case, you are doing well, and without the internet you could actually do better, I find the internet a highly distracting thing at times.

    Keep well for now bro.

    Alexon: Haha yeah I will!
    Kungfoo: Yeah you're totally right.

Hello guys! Some good news, I've got internet again. Happened quicker than expected. Buuut, I still won't be able to post daily or anything like that. Because my internet is limited and I don't want to bust all the bandwith on uploading of images and whatever so I'll probably post like.. bi-weekly or every 3rd week or something. We got internet just so my girlfriend can do her school work, I just get the luxury of getting to check the web sometimes.

    So it's better!

Here's some stuff. Again, can't post a bunch of stuff cause I don't want to kill my internet.

    Christmas gift for my girlfriend

    studies

    See you guys later!

Ludic: Tack Det finns mycket att kritisera, du får gärna nämna alla fel du ser.
Kungfoowiz: Yeah I've been trying out different ways of sketching. I don't really know what works best for me so I do all ways
Fudgeloaf: haha yeah I know, most reference pictures you find of dudes are pretty ripped and they all pretty much flex whenever they get the chance. I also exaggerate muscles sometimes, I like to outline the shape of musclemass just to remind myself of them.

    .-------------------

I feel like I could have been more productive, and I will be. It's been hard to get back into the good routines.. I'm feeling like I'm back on track though. I'm going to do that "100 THINGS" thing again, figures once more. I'm also going to do a lot more still lifes from now on too cause I feel like I really need some rendering practice.

I've also been thinking about doing daily portraits like Algenpfleger did, I have a mirror but I don't have any place to put it > I've got to figure out something..

    Anyway, here's some crap!

I do a better job when I make figures digitally for some reason..

Got to do more still lifes..

first creature is dedicated to my girlfriend, she wanted me to draw something cute

Something I started. Some sort of Frazetta tribute I guess.

Mmm.. maybe the pencil is too hard for you.. personally I love 4b, it's a lot like charcoal for me.. but if you find digital easier for your figures by all means.. =) I'd get that mirror propped up against something quick and get going.. and you just reminded me, my portraits have gone downhill since last month, gotta get back on the horse. Go HIT THAT! =)

Första porträttet ser jättebra ut! Försök spendera lite mer tid på att rendrera dina still lifes, tror dem kommer improva mycket då . Good job!

Pah and you said I made you feel lazy haha! great update loathsome, I think your doing a lot of things right but in segments rather than blending em together, like the contours on your figures are awesome but then like you say your contours or edges on your skull are lacking abit probs cos of the different studies and approaches for each piece i guess. Good idea with the 100 things again im thinking of getting stuck into those too cheers for the kick in the ass man!

Bella: Thanks! Glad you like it
Kingfoowiz: Yeah it's kinda weird for me. Sometimes I love drawing with a really precise hb led with a mechanical pencil and sometimes softer pencils.

Ludic: Jo det är sant. Will do!

fudge: Thanks man! Yeah. I think I just need to do more personal work rather than studies all the time.. I guess? I'm looking at it like: as long as I'm studying I'm learning things so you can't go wrong with that.

no87: Totally. I need to get a mirror. I've had one before but I have nowhere to place it. So I'm thinking of getting one of those mirrors you have on the table. Drawing sp traditionally with pencil gets kinda boring after a while. But I'll do that too for the time being.

    wroom: thanks maaan!

    Finnish guy: thanks man!

Alexon: been a baaad baaad man

    Vlotage: oh hey, thanks man!

    ---

I've been a bit bad D: I started playing minecraft for a while so I didn't draw much at all during those days. But I feel recharged though, feels nice to do other things sometimes although I played a bit too much..

Here's just a quick painting I did the other night.

Here's the rest of the figuredrawing stuff. I didn't keep the schedule though... I got swamped in games for a while D: So these 100 don't count. But at least I did them.

Going to do better next week.

^accidentally made the last one too small, sorry.

There's more but it ain't worth posting.

Hey bro.. pity about the 100 figures thing.. I guess maybe start thinking how to get your motivation back.. hate to say it but maybe the video games are clouding your goal here.. see your studies as fun time and you may not suffer so much imho.. =)

alexon: Yeah. I think it's because you can build whatever you want and it gives some sort of artistic liberty.. I don't know.. anyway, thanks man!

kungfoowiz: Ah man, you're right. I shouldn't play that much. However, to play games from time to time I don't think is bad. I actually feel recharged after the break, even though it was far too much gaming.

    aquascale: Thanks a lot!

Dunno if I'm going to post daily, I don't think I will.. But I'll try to post as often as I can. The good thing with waiting is that you have a lot better stuff to show, and more to show

Tried to paint our cat but I couldn't finish it cause the bastard just didn't want to get painted >

Me and my girlfriend is moving once again so I might now draw too much this weekend, probably not so much on monday either. We'll see. I need to get settled and all that stuff.

Did some hands too but I decided not to post them
Did a lot of women today cause I haven't been drawing much women from imagination so whenever I do, it looks like complete shit. So I'm going to keep the pace up with that from now on so that doesn't fall behind.

Looking hot dude! Keep up with the still lifes! Also, nice butts! By butt muscle I assume you mean the Gluteus maximus. I did alot of research in that area for a long time, even before I got into art if ya know what I mean! *wink**wink* ehm... yeah.

Alexon: Haha right on! The still lifes shall be kept upwards.

    ----

Spent the day working on this. It was pretty fun, I like working with harsh lightning. Although, I will be using other lightning on the next piece. All the intense red really made my eyes tired by the end of the painting.. guh

Hey bro, the figures are pretty cool.. only a few minor mistakes noticed.. for the butt muscles I guess just see it as basic shapes, round ish cylinder thing connecting to another cylinder.. then how are the legs placed, place your lines overlapping if the legs are overlapping.. keep up the practicing.. =)

kungfoo: I know about balls and cylinders. I was talking about the actual muscle connecting to bones.

Just something silly for our new apartment. Going to put it on the bathroom door.

It's just so people will leave the bathroom door open for our cat so he's able to do his thing too.

it says "I need to take a shit too, leave the door open"

Great stuff! Im liking the ideas and the colorwork. Maybe try to smooth the values a bit on your next drawing.
