New beginnings - Rodrigo's sketchbook
Heya, my name is Rodrigo! I live in Melbourne Australia, currently undertaking a Games Design course. Love it and i miss drawing/painting.
Critiques, comments or just motivation all welcome. Even a "hi" or a "hug" haha.
New works are updated.
Will update daily. Challenging myself to paint/draw everyday. Lets see how it goes.

Some personal work. A demon and an inquisitor. These are non referenced. I seem to have a problem of mixing two genres together, for example, realism with cartoony and it's messing my drawings up, where as i should focus on one or the other. :| Well, at least i think i do.

Some quick sketches before bed. I grip the pencil too hard.. trying to loosen up.

Some sketches for uni. Trying to focus on faces, since i have a very hard time on them rather than the body, but i do struggle on the body also.
Ill be putting more on the pages, most of these are non referenced. Trying to push my brain to remember the face structures as much as possible, will be doing some reference studies tomorrow. (you can tell which ones are referenced )

I've been challenging myself to draw/paint everday, i called the challenge a girl a day. I did it to push my boundaries and stop limiting myself to pencil and paper.
Any style, theme, black or color anything goes.

Cool start. Don't stop drawing, ever. It'll feed in to your design work nicely too.
