    Rover! Spaceship!

Just finished this guy, it's concept work for a video I'm doing with the National Space Society.

I wanted to create something that was a good way away from the standard NASA look, something a little more "Burt Rutan" for a lunar rover, same for the spaceship.

    To infinity... and beyond!

Nice designs! Kinda reminds me of what I used to build with my lego toys.

I like your colors and saturations.

Thank you! Hopefully the environment in the final video will do the trick

Really, really like the orbital tug, or whatever you might have called that spaceship! Very original, yet still harking back to real world designs. So nice to see some non-military hardware, too...

i like the second shop, the cockpit is cool.

I lust say i kinda like the color on the last ship and also the way you made those.
Its a nice contrast to all the rusty dangerous looking spaceships out there. The style here is more the classic graphic/AD design.

The material properties, refections, stronger shadows and so on, this could all use some more work tho.

    cheers

    Thanks Randis!

Yes, I could definitely nurse the materials out a bit more, that's what I get for spitting these out over lunch, haha.

Thank you Rhizus, I'm trying to keep it consistent

Thank you El Jeremie, it helps that I have really wonderful friends in the NASA community who tune me in to the workings of space vehicles.

This thread just gets better. More please!
One crit. On the Lunar Cargo Lander there aren't too many 'tells' for the scale. For example, ladders, rungs, etc - things that give a feeling of human scale really sells design on future vehicles. Of course, there's that cockpit, but perhaps a couple more human interaction details might help.
I love the maser propelled lightcraft. That's just hot (excuse the pun!). I'm over greeblies and rustbuckets, although they are fun in themselves. Really looking forwards to more!

This is an awesome breath of fresh air! The designs are really great, but what sets them completely apart are the colour choices. I particularly like the cargo lander! Are these modeled in 3D and painted over? Some edges seem more crisp than others, but it definitely doesn't take away from the overall designs, which are fantastic!

    Bagtaggar!

I like your stuff. Course you have hit upon one of my favorite subjects, space and the equipment used to explore it. Nice work!

Your lunar lander with the “screws” coming down is a concept that is new and exploratory. I enjoyed seeing that.

    Keep up the good work.

    Bruce
