    @ MurdokX

    Thanks a lot man!
I work with 3ds max since v3, thats my main app, i love working with photometric light but also work with add ons like brazil, vray and all sorts of particle engines.
I also use zbrush, can work with mudbox, texture weapons. used to do things with maya but prefer max.

i am not much of a fleshy 3D artist really, mostly i work on in game lowlife models. textures... it has been years since i made a detailed highpoli or a sculpture.
I want to get into it some more when i have more time...

About the newborn competition.. i do not wish to pass judgments, imo there are so many winners...

    UPDATE!!!

I am a super huge nerdy Gundam Otaku, for many years...
(me loves the older most, zeta, double zeta, war in the pocket, 008 and the designs for gaia gear alpha. i dont like Wing and G gundam, watched all series, movies many times)

Recently inspired by some Gundam pics i decided to make my own concept of a new Gundam Production Series.

    Let me present you

    GUNDAM SCHNEE RITTER

Hi Randis, been looking through your work for a while, congratulations on so many fine works! I have a question though if I may. In this "Schloss (castle) Lichterloh in Winida Country." you said you used both Painter and PS. Is it possible to know which effects/what stages you used whichever one for? Keep on rocking!

Man, this is such an incredible thread and the Schneeritter is the crown. Does he exist in 3D? (its often hard to tell wether your stuff is 2D or 3D)

    Anyways - big fan here...

    @ Chijts
Thanks man! I started in Painter, did a very quick rough with a custom brush to get some structure and then painted 90% in Photoshop

    @ lewiston
hey man! Thanks for dropping by!

I made a rough base for the gundam in 3ds max first, nothing fancy, then heavy painting over and detailing in PS.

haha man, i want a spaceship like yours. dope shit! cheers

I'm a UC Gundam fan until the day I die so I salute you in your taste. That gundam looks very similar to the Gundam Unicorn. Definitely isn't that similar though, just what I thought of at first. Great great painting and taste.

Hope you've seen this- kindof old news at this point but gotta make sure you've seen it.

Anyway, great everything. I love your rendering abilities and all of your compositions/gestures/colors you name it. Great job. Keep it coming!

Yes the paint is very much inspired by the unicorn. I like the feel it has, very much the prototype.
