Im really hoping that the workshop up in washington has a dvd version that i'll be able to download. I won't be able to make it. I would however pay handsomely for a DVD of all the artists working at it.

you know, judging by the size of that dragon, I really wonder how we are EVER going to take it down, even IF silvary, norn, humans, charr and asura would work together... I mean, it's not like a skill like protective spirit can protect you from THAT kind of magic...
man... really good looking concept art, among the best i've seen all across the net, and I've seen a lot of concept art

very lovely, the armor makes the undead look so dashingly chivalrous! the play of the warm colors gives it such a creepy advancing feel

Here are a couple ingame GW2 models
Here are a couple of ingame models. Both are human wearing heavy armor. I designed, modeled and textured the face and body. I designed but did not model the armor on the female. Hai Phan designed the armor on the male.
The application used were Maya, Mudbox, Photoshop, Bodypaint plus all the proprietary GW2 engine stuff

I had a question, are these models textures finalized? I noticed the skin looks more plastic than I expected.. In GW there certainly wasn't this level of detail or any normal maps, but the tones & colors of the GW1 skin were much more robust & alive:

For me, an important thing is that the character models look like they belong in the game world, as if they are made from the same substance, designed with a similar style, and light interacts with them as it does with their environment. If that is achieved, then I can suspend my disbelief and immerse myself in the gameplay and story. I have to say these models are beautiful and have a very Guild Wars look to them. You have whetted my appetite to see and play the finished game.

Polygon Count: 3500-4500 Triangles, Tree Creature is 7000 Triangles
Textures: 1X1024X1024, Tree Creature is 2X1024X1024
Arenanet just released some GW2 official videos, and these are parts of the ceatures I made showing in the videos.

I cant wait for this game, and I have the art book for it, I was a huge fan of GW1, and this looks like its gonna hold up to my expectations, I honestly think its one of the best artbooks in my collection!
