Ludic - Har maties!
Jasper_ - sadly didnt get to process anything, the middle one's my fav too, and also the first one I sketched out! thanks
brentos8 - Haha great to hear! gogo draw!!

1. Get back into updating this sketchbook
2. Apply to and enroll into Florence Academy of Arts, Florence, Italy, by the fall semester of 2011
3. Do what I love, Love what I do
it's going to be a good year.. I can sense it, the magical flows are strong!
And with no further ado I give you some scanned papers.. sorry for all the hands, they were fun. I have around 150 pages more to scan but it's the same crap.. studies and imaginary drawings, you get the general idea. This is stuff from the past 3 months.

Awesome update man! Good luck in the new year I hope you can achieve your goals
hi, very nice sb going here. Ive been checking most of it during the last few days and i really like your confidence when it comes to exprtess your own ideas, that inspires me a lot!
what I noticed with you anatomy studies is that, it makes total sense to try and group the muscles into forms that you understand. But if you try to stick to those forms that loomis shows you youll end up in a more boring realistic anatomy, that hasnt got the charm that frazettas or dave finchs anatomical depictions have. Thats a question of taste tho, i know, but i think, in order to have interesting and convincing anatomy you have to come to a good "simplified stylized" form.
The dave finch anatomy dvd (gnomon) basically states this and this makes a great deal of sense to me.
bridgman basically presents us a simplified stylized form but its a little too simplified for uses in finished illustrations..it isnt meant to in the first place i guess.
I think your anatomy studies would profit a lot from a little more "style"-, thats what i wanted to say^^
hope youre doing good in your school and keep up the creative work
happy new year btw.
Your linework is superb, beautiful drawings! hoping to see more soon!
Talent and Creativity are yours to use and keep

lolbbq - definitely! haha
alexson - Haha, fuck yeah! nu blire smisk! ses i COW!
KingElvis - Thanks for your thoughts! I think you're very right regarding anatomy. I've come to understand is as such, that once I understand what the subject looks like I can start deviating from there and interpret it as I like. The same goes for anatomy, once I understand where the muscles are I'll start interpreting the subject in different ways depending on the result I'm after, like different kinds of stylization. I'll keep it in mind though cause I know how easy it is to get stuck with a certain kind of rendering! thanks
Odayga - Thanks! see you around
Hey everyone, new year, new promises, new new new! keeping it short, thanks for your comments, really appreciate it! Did some DSG's. Felt really rusty, though I hope to be back on track within a week or so, as long as I draw and paint something every day.. time to get good again see you around
Impressive studies! Loving your DSG entry. What's that gross.. yellow.. sticky.. liquid under her?? wellp... not sure that I really want to know..
Keep going man. Can't wait to see your cow200 entry. I always liked your critters
Metal Fingers - Yeah, I'll try to be on msn more often
Witrcrack - Thanks man! well.. if you really don't wanna know I shouldn't be telling you about the thick, yellow slimy underbe... oops
Nim - Thanks you! It was a piece inspired by the (then) newly revealed Demon-Hunter class in Diablo3, awesome shits! Any plans for spring mate? would be awesome to meet up again at say, a sketchmeet
Hey guys, another dsg.. Don't know what I'm doing, but heck! I'm getting back into it
Uh oh, someone's getting pretty darn goooood. :3 You've been working really hard and it is clearly paying off. Keep it up matey.
I scrolled back a few pages to catch up on stuff since I fell off the planet for like, a year. Your lineart is absolutely gorgeous, it is beautiful. So full of life. Your rendering is really lovely as well, you clearly have an inherently good sense of how to use colour. One little thing I sort of notice - which is a very easy thing to fall into, and I am totally guilty of - is that when you render out your lovely drawings, some of the energy is lost. In the process of detailing and painting out a piece, a bit of the movement and life and freedom in the sketch becomes stilted and stiff. Maybe you need to work the whole image over more, if you're just kind of rendering compartmentalized areas like a xerox machine. May be something just to keep in mind when you go into render mode.
Anyway, tiny thing, but I'd feel bad in being MIA forever and not even leaving feedback for you. It's so inspiring to see all your progress and I'm really looking forward to seeing where things go for you. Take care mate, all the best!
Your sher output volume is impressive and it really makes me want to draw. You are proof that working hard works, and its a joy to follow your progress.
Sorry I couldn't make it to the sketchmeet, but something came up in the last minute. I hope I can attend next month.
your hand sketches... wow. seriously inspirational dude

I'm very open in spring and a sketchmeet would totally rock! gbg or sthlm perhaps but I may recall you had a southern accent, are you one of the malmö sketchmeet goers? let's get something kicked off again! that vegan restaurant in gbg was righteous! and I know an even better one in sthlm where there's room to sketch usually (it's buffet aswell and delish!) save this for ref: nimnimnim(at)gmail(dot)com
