    Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd Edition

    Hey guys and gals!

Fantasy Flight Games just released the cover illustration I did for their game Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd Edition.

The turn around for this was pretty quick, about 2 weeks from start to finish. I ended up having to scrap the first version I did, but I'm glad I did, the new version ended up being much better. The upper area was left open for the logo. You can check out the mini site here.

    Thanks for looking!

Thats pretty awesome. I like the grittiness, and the flashes of orange are nice touches. The chaos warriors look amazingly brutal.
    Great job.

Wow this really evokes the feeling of the Warhammer world amazingly. I really dig the Bright Wizard design a lot.

Also as a completely separate thought, thanks for being so generous with the tutorials on your site! I just bookmarked the page.

Oo.. good old times when I played first edition. New editions went more into Warhammer Battle aesthetics but I really like this cover. It's great and it has that universe feel.

Got to second LeonHeart here, a higher resolution of this image is totally required.
The image inspire too much beauty of the chaotic war and endless violence that reign in this world to be that small.

The entire piece is great, but I think the Bright Wizard steals the show - absolutely amazing!

Love it, and thanks for the high res. Wish more people posted their images large. There is a bit too much spackling going in the lower half of the image for my taste.

Dude - fucking awesome!! Your attention to detail is just amazing, especially on the armor. The guys in the foreground could maybe be separated a little better from the mid-ground. And I'm not sure the action of the main 2 guys is reading as well as it could...it feels like there needs to be some more space between the good guys arm and the bad guys shield. If he's supposed to be butting up right against it (which is what the lighting is telling me), I think he needs to look like he's putting more weight onto the shield. But yeah - minor quibbles...this is really epic. And that Bright Wizard...holy shit! Great work!!

Awesome painting, mate, those desaturated colors add much to the WH feeling. Thanks for sharing!
