developing my style!
i am trying to develop my style into a slightly realistic-colored, yet stylized way; i am about to work on a very big project and i want to know if this style looks like it pieces together. does the anatomy look correct, and is the manga eyes good compared to the realistic coloring?

Unless you're going to do a lot more with the shading, I'd put the lineart back in. It looks washed-out and undefined, and darker lines would help counteract that.

I would disagree, not everything has to be in your face. I kind of like the look. Maybe make the eye blue a bit more intense and lose the black on the edge of the iris.

It's hard to tell with such a loose sketch how far you can push this style. Right now I would advise you to do some studies and practice and worry about style later. The portrait has little structure from the lines or values. I would just go back and practice realistic drawings.

Again I would disagree. The face show weariness, almost sadness. I would really like to see the big project and how he would fit in.
