    SKTCHBK/2009

Hello all, this is my sketchbook thread. I've been lurking here for years, what an inspiring community this is, learned so much by just visiting every now and then.

Figured it's finally time to get more active, and start giving back a little bit.

Thanks for dropping by, leave a comment or two, always looking to grow as an artist.

A speedy from today, felt like painting a classic mech scene:

You have potential, but you might want to use some harder brushes next time.

Sept13: Thanks, will be following your sb as well, some great pieces there..!
dU5K: Thanks, I will put some more recent stuff soon.
FightingSeraph: Thanks, not quite sure what you mean with the harder brushes though?

In the meantime, here's an older a bit more finished piece:

Sick stuff man, some great use of textures and colours. Mechas and cities and such have always baffled me! That first one is particularly badass. Have you checked out to robogabo sketchbook thread? Really think you'd like his stuff
    Peace

Hey mate! Nice start for a sketchbook Really digging that mech. However, I'd suggest studying some colour theory and maybe doing some b&w studies to learn more about values.

    Keep up the good work!
