    Zbrush Paintstop

Pixologic has released a plugin for zbrush called paintstop, messing with it right now, it seems pretty nice and i thought i would share... take a look! http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/sho...d.php?t=073619 (ps. i didn't really know where to put this so if its not in a great place my apologies)

meh I would rather they stick to their strengths, this still isn't a 2d program. Lack of layers and basic tool sets don't make this really piratical.

It's a nice natural medium addition but isn't any competition for painter, or artrage for that matter.

yeah I did beta testing for this. Its great addition to Zbursh and really makes it so you can speed up your creation process. It doesn't hold a flame to PS or Painter but if dont have those apps and Zbrush is your primary package this will let you get some 2d miles out of it.

It's a bit like ArtRage but without the annoying interface and with a responsive cursor, wished SketchUp also had a sketchpad. Anyway quite liked the ink brush, the response is actually close to a real ink nib, well done.

The demo video has sold me on avoiding it. It reminds me of gimp.

I don't see anything really new. I think I'm fine with Photoshop or Painter.

Yeah, I need ZBrush to move back and forth with photoshop easily, and I am on a MAC. I do like ZBrush - just added a new link on my concept art web site showing my new Brush work. Very cool!

If you already have Zbrush it's a nice addon to have, it's not like anyone's going to buy Zbrush for this.
