Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
This is another nice one-
I would agree with Alex and suggest some more drawing from life, but! - in your own style. Its clear thats what youre enjoying.
Using the charcoal works well. You could then move onto photoshop and try out some custom brushes that have a similar great result?
I've been drawing a lot but because of the lovely holidays I haven't gotten a chance to post. I'm prolly gonna update in a few separate posts. This was some stuff before or on/around Christmas I think. Mostly studies and randomness
Thanks bagtag! = D
and yes...i know that in the last pic that looks nothing like a wolf! I need to practice drawing some animals now yes!

It's great to see someone hitting all the foundations so hard. It's obviously paying off, too.
Want to see someone become a master? (My Sketchbook)
It looks like you're doing very well with your studies, and you seem to have a good idea of what you should be practicing. I definitely like what I see, would like to see more still life / anatomy stuff too. Your figures are looking awesome though, so keep it up
Again it's been a while since I've posted >< Schools started up again and I've been so busy... I also applied for TAD... we'll see how that goes Looking at the scholarship winners so far...I don't think I have a chance in hell but we'll see... = D
First few things are for the comic I'm working on. I'm not sure if I'm liking the colors yet.... hrm Obviously still in major progress!
The rest is some school work and yet another self portrait. I don't really think I got a likeness but practice is practice! = D
I will try to post more often
Kittens, when have you become so good????
I remember the Surveyor chow, I really liked your entry. I should have checked out your sketchbook then, I missed so much good stuff.
Your traditinal portraits are beautiful, try doing some boys though. Men aren't as complicated as they might look, actually we have a lot to offer facially!
I am subscribing, don't want to miss too much!
My camera is dead after last weekend, so I can't really show a whole lot of what I've been doing, but I can show the digital stuff...
More of the comic....I was pleased with it at first, but now I am seeing all the mistakes.. =/
Just looked through the whole sketchbook. Really nice stuff! The figures look great, they have a really nice sense of volume. The recent more vector-looking stuff is nice too, but I think those blush spots you use on them make them look kinda flat. Keep uploading stuff!
The improvement in this thread is just WOW! I came upon your sketchbook from the TAD forums and saw that you had applied.. are you attending TAD now?
You seem to intuitively know how to capture the figure of the people in your drawings, the women in particular. If the figure isn't perfect than you capture it very close to being perfect.
I love the portrait in 79, despite the right eye being a little out and the hair looking slightly too big for the face.
Definitely doing well, hope you come back and give some updates soon.
