    pretty good... but deepening the shadows and add a little more lighting on their sides and specially on the ground may help...

    Thanks. Well, actually I removed some of the lighting from the ground for two reasons. Firstly, I had removed the light source that justified the light (yes, I know, nobody cares) and secondly, I thought that a lighter ground pulled the focus away from the figures - especially from the creature's hand which had to stand out.

    Yes, deeper shadows, but this is a photograph taken under horrible lighting conditions. It has been rain and thunder here all week - and very dark.
    It looks better in reality - but you knew I was going to say that, right? :-)
