ok, les'see... first time ever, learning stuff all along..
i usually don't do this.. i usually just do easy stuff like writing and killing grizzlybears with my bare hands, so...
anyway, he's a gnome.. i guess...
and i am never..NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER creating/rigging a skeleton and applying the "skin" of the model to it again... EVER.. I was this close (<->) to killing myself in frustration while making this and it still didnt come out quite right..
crits are welcome, but i wont fix stuff.. (it's still good for future non-bendable object projects though)

just had a look-see in your portfolio.. its a good thing im not aspiring to be a 3dartist, cuz that wouldve killed my hopes of ever being any good at all!

If it's your first work with 3D Studio, it is not bad at all You could refine the clothes to give a more natural look. And don't give up: skinning and rigging are so easy / difficult as modelling, texturing, etc. The more you practice, the more you learn
