The life poses are nice value wise, but the proportions are off. On the girl on the right the torso is too short and teh upper leg too long.

    Doodles and Creepy face!

Another quick post, having to cut back a little due to my illustration internship I'm doing. Fear not however, I will be getting back into the swing of things soon!

Janos: Thanks for your reply, always good to see how I can improve!

    Creature Concept

Ok, just a little speedpaint (took 3 hours or so..ok not fully a speedpaint!) Learning new techniques with this, more about shading and subtle color shifts. All good stuff

    Bristol Museum

Had a little trip to Bristol Museum (uk) today, spent quite a bit of time doing study's and just enjoying the atmosphere of the place! I was quite taken by a lot of the birds they had there, so here are a few sketches I worked on, mainly 10-15 mins each. Fun stuff

    Nice sketchbook!

the faces you draw, in some cases maybe have some proportion issues, but the expresions are really good!
makes me think about study more expressions an let the porportion by side...

    keep going

I like the bird page. Nice studies.
Your digital image (the last one) needs some edge definition. Bring some sharoness to the focal point!

Nice work here, very inspiring. Try working on your lighting and values more to help create more depth in your images.

Thanks much cgaddict, lighting is a weak point for me, its something I'm going to be investing a lot of time in for the future!

A few other bits, more skulls for plane practice and a marble statue study, worked on in the British Museum, great place!
