Hi all. This is my first time posting work on CA.org, although I have lurked here since 2005. I hang my head in shame.
This lot was completed for a small exhibition earlier in year. Looking back, I see a lot of things to improve on.
Right on, yo. These are great.
...but not the green you're thinking of...
really powerful...What is the meaning of the first image? Somehow it feels like a Palestinian being kicked off her land....close?
Very well done. Nice colour choices.
keep it up
This series of pics are based on biblical scenes. The other ones are:
-Christ at the Pillar
-It Is Finished (not a classical scene I guess. I see the carcass of Jesus being carted away from the execution site. 'All the blood has bled from me, and I say no more.' But of course, all the followers/bystanders/commentators still want to squeeze words out of the dead guy. We all know what good they did.)
-Angel of Mercy
-Angel of Destruction
Jason Manley's colour theory talk at Marama. Well I did study afterwards but Jason set me on the right path for sure.
Pretty rudimentary use of colour though. The drawing too, real stiff in places. Lots to learn, lots to practice...
Thanks ej, greenbob!

Nice work, i love how you included the pterodactyls in the background of the Eve picture.
