Hello everybody! I have been drawing somewhat seriously for a few years now and I would like some feedback from the conceptart.org forums. All critiques and comments are welcome.
Just about all my work looks cartoony in some sense- even when I try to draw realistically. This is because I am terrified of life drawing (I know it's very important, I just need to build up some confidence before I rush in).

Some more things...
Hey Duder, awesome work. Post more stuff if you have it!
er, I mean Atrius!
yet more stuff
I would play any game that you did the character concept-art for.
Thanks, mully. If I needed something painted with pure humor, I'd come to you. But of course, you know that.
I'm trying to learn to paint now. As I'm too poor for traditional materials to learn with, I'm trying referenced work on Photoshop first.
WIPs: Steven Spielberg and then three silly imagination doodles
Wow, my art must be boring as hell
Quite the contrary my friend, your art is amazing and very imaginative! Update often I implore you!
Well hey there Dee and Phratello
Nice, fun style.
My favourite has to be the man sitting on his row boat. Nice pencils in that piece.
Love to see a few more referenced pieces too.

Thanks. I'm taking baby steps in overcoming my fear of life and reference work.
You have some good imagination
Keep it up, and enjoy real life drawing, i am sure you will do allright
Thanks for the kind words
here's a sketch page and a mostly failed attempt at imitating another artist's style.
