Sorry to hear that Dominic - pets become very much part of the family, losing them can be very upsetting - surprisingly so, even, for those who haven't gone through it (my avatar is of my old much-loved cat, "Tim", who died last August, aged 17).

Damn, I'm sorry. And only four years old! Poor girl.

That's awful, I'm so sorry pets bring so much to a home and a family, it's terrible to lose one, especially so soon.

I lost my cat, Mishka, earlier this year. When I got home from uni at Easter she was on her last legs - cancer - and it was heartbreaking. No one had even told me she was ill until I was getting ready to head home. She was my best friend for over 10yrs and I'm still not used to her not being around

So yeah, I get how much this sucks. It sounds like she was a very loved dog though, and that's wonderful

sucks. Both of my dogs attacked a rat that happened to have eaten some rat poison, so in the process they too got poisoned and died. This happened shortly after my mother was diagnosed with cancer and was followed up with a close friend committing suicide the day before his birthday
