    Painter Brushes Thread

Okay, so I noticed numerous questions in this section about custom brushes.
Maybe it's time to just pile it up in one thread.

    Post here if:
You want to share a custom brush you've come up with and how other CA artists can get it.
Or you know any download links.

Also, those of you who have questions about how to obtain a certain effect using certain brush settings, post your questions here!

    ok, me first.

I've had a go on creating pattern brush. I want to be able to convert shapes I've created in illustrator as a brush in Painter, just like what I've been doing in Photoshop. I'm totally new in Painter, and I can see that creating custom brush is not as easy as it is in Photoshop. If you know of any thread that went through this topic alread, please post the link, and I'll take it from there.

    bWorx,

Do a search in this forum using the words Captured Dab and do a search in Painter's Help Topics using the same words.

Please do not PM me with Painter questions. Instead, post them here where everyone can benefit from them. Thanks!

yeah, thanks Jin. Finally able to create custom brushes combining topics from the help files and tips from the web. Took me hours of playing around with the brush selector to get it, that was tricky. Next will be the pattern pen

HiveMind, I took that InkingPen Brush that you have... looks pretty nice! I'll have to mess around with it.

Thanks everyone for the helpful links and brushes. I'm still pretty darn new to Painter (I have Painter X) and every little experiment and extra brush to play with is helpful.
