Ok I worked a bit more on it. I think it starts to look like it should There is surprisingly alot of pure red and blue in the bottom of the fabric.

the master study is looking good! I think she needs a little more red though, on the hands and feet, and around the ears, nose, mouth and eyes.

Study is starting to come together, btw don't forget the moon man .
For the fabric on the right, the blueish, there are some minor differences, but it's still a wip .
Looking forward to the final result.

Hi B-man! Your recent work is looking really good! Love the girls and especially the faces in that doodle a week ago. They transfer a lot of emotion.

The master study is really coming along great! Alittle more red in the terminator on the left (our left) arm and move the eye up a bit and maybe alittle smaller.

    Keep pushing!

The master study is looking wonderful as to push it a bit, mouth is seemo¡ing a bit off from the original one. Apart from that, I'm in awe

    hey dude, nice stuff.
when you tackle such a subject, i would suggest thinking in terms of colors and values first before fleshing out the shapes.

I`m loving the master study! Really, it`s coming together very nicely, can`t wait to see the finished work!

A little help maybe though? Try adding a little bit more texture to the skin before your done, it`ll make the pieces look a little bit more similar I think .

    Lyno - Thanks

Shard - Thank you. Yeah the noses was kinda long back then, I kinda like it. glad you liked my Saladin!

Flaskpost - Jo jag vet fär är skrämmande. jag har ju alltid brottats med mina färger, börjar äntligen kännas bra. Hare gött!

freakmod - Thanks. i like drawing faces. Its so hard to depict some emotions though.

Braintree - Thanks mate! i got kinda bored with the last study Im working on a lot of other things atm.

    Quikenobi - Thanks!

Chupacabra - I really tried nailing the right values in the initial color sketch. I guess I should have painted it on a brown background. My values always get to light on white. Thanks for the tip. On this new one I spent more time with the values. I guess its a lot better in that sense but its more stiff, like clay dolls.

Nisshoku - Thanks. Im not aiming at a copy but I do like textures. thanks for the tip.

Peetaer - Thanks. ill pop in and se how your doing.

Black Spot - Thanks! Yes do master studies, you learn alot fromem.

I really learned alot from the first masterstudy so when I started this second I took all the good crit/ coments to heart and it helped alot!

I bet you did learn a lot with those master studies! And...yes it was my sister and she said shes had enough of you for now! I think....I don't care what she says though, you're a nice guy.

Did you just start with a sketch over the master painting to get placement? Things in that department look super. So you are studying more on illustration than concept right now in your focus?

Good work with the Bouguereau studies! It was interesting seeing your process as you went about it.

Really dig your tonal work, you have a great understanding for lighting in tones, i think the colors could use a little work but overall i really enjoyed looking through your sketches! wow! it's like a totally different person! much improvement i see.

nose bridge thing...i think flattening happens less due to the darkness of the bridge than the absence of reflected light onto the bottom of the nose. the shadow cast by the nose on the upper lip should be darker than the light on the bottom plane of the nose. do you get what i mean? sometimes i don't explain well, so let me know.

    welcome back!

Nice stuff for sure. First I saw the Bougeaureau piece and thought "damn that is SICK". Then I saw the study hehe. Nice one though, coming along well, both of them. You really got the colors and overall mood spot on

Hey, thanks for visiting my SB! I love the Bouguereau studies. The first one is coming along great! On the second one, there is something a bit skewed on the taller girl's face(I think her chin/cheek outline isn't full enough and her eyes are a tad too slanted). Overall, very impressive! Will look for more

love the master study bro!!! good study and i'm sure
you learned a bunch from it!

a good tip i do is flicking my eyes from reference to
my art. you can quickly see what's wrong in proportions,
size, etc. just flick the eyes back and forward fast and
remember to use reference in studies. don't use any
part of your brain. it's a study for a reason, then after
in your fun art you can make whatever you want! ;]
hope this helps and thanks for stalkin my sb! i shall
    be stalking yours :]
