    thanks alex. i will still finishes this even tho that chow ended. want to try and develop all three characters see if i can proper push them all.

    working on characters from 1984 at the moment. trying to picture O'brien like an old school teacher that would come across quite calm and collected but be able to snap very fast.

    Hey dude, James off your course stumbled upon this while looking at some blogs,

    Everything is looking great but you should try shifting your hue more and relying less on value to turn form. Also feel as if sometimes your jumping into rendering too fast when there are still some problems with structure but that is something I am guilty of too!

    sorrry for no update in along time. been really busy with uni and goals but that is no real excuse. will be more on the ball from now on been trying to do alot of different things recently. working on line work alot mixing traditional print with digital and the other way round. starting to get really into drawing comics too. the scans for the sketchbook stuff are really bad quality but been trying to draw tons from life recently.

    Wow,your shading is gorgeous!!How do you get all these incredibly smooth transitions between values?

    thanks man. its a mixture of using a basic round brush and an air brush mainly. using the air brush to get stuff down and the round to define it.
