A few eye studies, some leafage experimenting , a little fun with chinese letters (The letters stand for Feng Shui, I think) and a shot at assignment #1 out of seedling's amazing Concept Art 101 thread.

Hey thanks for the nice replies.

sebbonaparte, the birth mark sure is in there. It what gives him his personality. Didn't know if to fill it lightly, or leave it blank, decided like always to choose the easier path.

A few updates. I & I - Bob Marley, drawn this week, and some additional old facial and neck studies.

Been working on and off for the past few months on Scott Robertson's rendering DVD's.
Using mainly charcoal and pantone markers.
Ended up with having a huge wall full of these renderings.
A few photos of it, will post them in a normal angle soon.

Thanks man. Your sketchbook looks promising. You're on the right track, keep up the hard work.
Lately I've been using mostly mechanical pencils, 0.5. Helps me get my lines clean.

And back to work. Got some flash animations this week.

Bob's portrait is beautiful, really intense!
Other portraits and sketches are also very good, I really like how you get shapes just with soft shadows! Keep posting please.

Heh, sorry I didn't see your question last post HB, 0.5.
0.7 If I run out of the 0.5's.

Some more of this icon set. Not the best image quality.
Thinking of maybe animating these, started seeing them twist and turn in my head, might be interesting.

Amazing job on the train! So much detail, I love it.
Great job on the portrait sketches as well, seems like you've really got the shading down.
I'd love to see more stuff in color, if possible.
    Keep it up!

Hey, long time no post, getting back to it.
Thanks for the kind words. Zenobia, yeah, I got an issue with colours, starting getting into it.

A project done a while back with some friends, some massive wall drawings. Took place outside a recording studio, therefore the concept. Made up of hundreds of small drawings inside of pick shapes. Added some zoom ups.

Took on Feng Zhu's Gnomon DVD, starting to get into environments. The subject fascinates me, and i'm pretty weak at it, so back to the perspective lines and vanishing points. Here are a couple of them.
