    Hi I'm new here

Hello Everyone! I'm new here, just joined. Still new to all these forums. As I hardly spend enough time on the computer. Sometimes it can be very confusing. But I know I need to get my artwork out there. Anyway, I'm a self taught artist. I have been painting for a very long time. As I got older, I started to paint murals and do custom faux finishes in peoples home. Then I was approached several months ago to illustrate a book. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would illustrate a book. The book is called, "The Present Monster" and it will be out this coming Christmas. I can't wait. I will be illustrating 5 other books as well from the same Author. I do have several projects lined up. I love Fairys, and dark art. And I'm a huge fan of Tim Burton. I would love to be on his team of artists.

    Hi, ABM!

I don't spend a ton of time on here either, but it is by far one of my most favorite art forums.
I also paint, am a fan of the dark stuff, and Tim! I've had the opportunity to paint a few murals (I'm not sure I was using the right materials now that I think about it) but I really liked doing it. I paint large most of the time, so it was fun for someone to point at a wall and go "make something".

    Welcome

    Welcome to Concept Art

A good way to start would be to start your own sketchbook at the sketchbook section in my opinion.

Anyways, if you have questions, feel free to personal message any time.

    Cheers

    Thanks for dropping by!
