I love British humor and I watched a few episodes from "The Black Adder",
but my most favorite television sitcom is also a British one, if you ever
    watched "Only fools and Horses".

I almost forgot about this forest giant painting, good that you have
brought it back for some tweaking. He will hammer these tribals with
    one punch, out of nowhere.

I like this recomposed version. But you've got to fix values and colors.

@ witcrack I think forest monster or something like in japanese. I just Google translated it from english.
    @ catukas thanks
@ Grassy Yeah, you're right, colors and valuse are struggling.
@ LtPlissken Well it's the end of the term in the university, so I had to pay my attention to that matter.
Actually I've been doing some funny Photoshop manupulations, like that. Not a real art, but a good PS practice.
But i've been doing some drawings, will update soon.

Wow man, this is what I call real concepts.
    I am speechless.
Is the number 78 also a graphite pencil effect, or
is it digitally added? Cause it is look awesome.

Great work seraph, lots of raw imagination coming out and its nice. Youve got a good handle on painting too. You probably know but it feels like anatomy is your weak point and its holding back some of your nice pencil drawings and figures.
Go blitz and hammer out tonnes of anatomy for a week and push it up just a notch.

Sorry if its obvious and blunt but I thought it was worth mentioning. Your environments paintings are really great, it would be nice to pull your figures up with it.
    Keep up the hard work.

@ Sean McClain glad you like it.
@ LtPlissken well all of it digital, and the number was just typed in, rasterized and painted over. But I think I've screwed perspective with wrap tool, so probably should've just scribble it in manualy, would have better result.
@ PHATandy Thanks for the concern, but I'm doing anatomy studies almost every day, with a books and tuts. So don't worry, supermegaanatomy will come soon.
@ Grassy Thanks mate, glad you're still visiting me.

So, term almost finished, and exams starting to give me some headache, and art really gets me off that craziness. And of course your kind words keep me going too. I'm enjoying that piece. For a long time I didn't make linework+colors. It's not finished yet, probably will be tomorrow.

Well guess i missed few updates

#445 - You did a good job here especially the humped guy. But that knight has a nasty 'indifferent' look in his face. other than that its great.

    # 451 - the rightmost guy's pose is odd, other than that its a good job.

I like the last piece a lot, Its shaping up nicely. Will visit later to see your progress.

Well, keep up the good work mate.

For some reason it is hard for me to understand whats going on in post 466 with the 78 armor pad, or is that his knee coming towards the viewer? I see there is a pad on the other side, maybe perspective is too exagerated or Im just stupid lol. I love the drawings though and its awesome that you scanned them into PS and painted them. They look cool other than that crit. Good stuff in here!

Hey seraph! just wanted to thank you for the crits you dropped in my SB. They're valuable. I'm really glad you decided to flesh the belly man out, he's starting to look sexy now with red trousers The other ones are cool too and you've already saw that the no.78's off proportion, so I trust you to fix that. Keep it up you!

Are those pencil or digital? Either way they're sweet, loose sketches that you can do ANYTHING with.

I need to draw more... with the intention of using the drawing as an underpainting, not just studying.

Keep up the good work man.

    @ devastacio Thanks mate )
@ bpic As I already said - it's not a scanned pencils - it's digital linework! And it's not a knee pad, it's a thigh side pad. But I can see what you're mean about right leg. Sometimes artist needs a time to detach from a piece and start seeing it with a sober look. So yeah, right foot and hand might be disproportioned, but as I said - it's not finished yet, and when I'll continue I'll fix that.
@ My57' It's not a big deal, it just comes with time.
@ Odayga Glad you like it.
    @ Parsakoira Will do.
@ witcrack Yep, after a good sleep I could see that nasty problem. I love to paint in night, up to 4-5 a.m. but sometimes I don't have enough energy for that.
@ Quigleyer It's 100% digital. I just like to make my digital lines pencil-like, because I do a lot of pencil studies in my sketchbook. And yep it's pretty good technique. I usually go like that: middle layer - lines, bottom - base color, upper - fine details.

Well guys, I'm so glad that I have such a support for, and you all doing a great stuff as well, and I feel proud knowing so many great artist. But I don't have anything to show you today - university studies took all my free time today. But in a few days I'll finish that last puppy, play with skin rendering and will return to dragon piece.
Oh, and it's catholic Christmas soon, and New Year. Russian way of celebrating those holidays little bit different than in the west, but what is really important, is that feeling of joy and happiness. So don't worry, be happy, and don't make war. Yay!

P.S. Daft Punk rules! And does anybody read that crap?

Picking the colors greatly, and combining them
really effectively, just as someone said above.

I understand when someone does not have time to paint
or draw, that is why I wait so patiently for your great updates.

Christmas on 7th January and new Year on 13th January?

    @ Chuvabak Спасибо.
@ LtPlissken Thanks for support. No, we have usual 31st December New Year (otherwise, how would anyone celebrate it after 2 weeks since it happened ^_^). However, because in Russia the state religion is Orthodox Christianity, Christmas is celebrated on 7th Januaryr. But I'm not very religious, actually - I'm an atheist, so I don't really care about how it does here. What I really like, is that amazing cheerful feeling of western Christmas. All that festive mood, when people really try to set differences away - it's very cool. So when I'll move out to US, or Europe - I'd like to meet these holidays like you guys. Oh, and by the way - we make presents on 31 December, not Christmas.
@ papageo Maybe, though the baron was really fat. But I didn't thought of that.

So guys, finally I'm done with the half of term exams (other half - after holidays), so I'll be able to draw and paint again. Actually I've got something for you. That alien bustard will be finished in full height. The only thing I have to say - Merry Christmas, boys and girls, be good kids.
