You are right, there could go any story with the dragon painting.
    The last two paintings;
the first one; got a great magical atmosphere, and colors.
the second one; I see that Rambo has visited the place.

Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook! That last update was amazing. Its looks very professional. I really enjoyed how you did the energies flying around in the first one. The second really sets a story too like the first. YOu can see a raid going on in the second or something like that lol The first is just saweat!

    @ B-Man thank you
    @ Emil_ Thanks )
@ LtPlissken Yeah, only it's a fantasy version of Rambo
    @ Joe777k7 Glad you've liked it
@ llex_paul Well, if you'd saw my anatomy drawings a year and a half ago, you've would've see, that I'm practicng anatomy drawing almost every day. I'm not showing it simply because I don't see point in that.

Really quick speedpaint before bed - it was a rich day. Made some super cool chicken meat in a cinnamon-garlic sweet sour cream sauce. You might think it's nasty, but it fucking awesome!

I really like the robot on the previous page, you put a lot of nice detail that one, I also like the edges in it. It's a strong piece. It's probably the best thing you've done so far in my opinion.

But looking at the dragon and the girl piece, I can see some problems with the skin on the girl, it doesn't really go well together with the rest of the image. She kinda looks pasted on there. Sooo, I suggest that you do a few skin studies, just to get an better idea on how light reflects the skin. And then I mean like different environments.

    Hey there,

Just peeped into your SB just when i was about to go offline. Went only through last page for now. But those environments in post #421 are simply wonderful. Very nice color usage. Also like the last piece which you have clearly defined point of focus using a warm color. I will check your whole SB out when i get some time tmrw or day after man. Hopefully ill tell what i honestly think after i completely check it out.

Anyways seems like a great SB you got here mate. Keep up the good work and will check it out from now on. Good luck!

@ Loathsome Well I've said earlier that it's not a final render, and that a lot of work ahead. But thank you for visit.
    @ devastacio Thank you mate
@ Grassy Will do, but only after some heavy anatomy practice.
    @ FAST ART Roger that!

So I'll break an enviro combo and will spend some time practicing anatomy, as most of you guys suggested. Anyway thank you all for all feedback and support, love you guys.

You're environments are out of this world... I'm really at a loss for words as to what could improve because I can learn so much from you.

That latest anatomy study is brilliant. You OBVIOUSLY know how to construct heads. I love how intense you with each media, whether it's paints or graphite or anything else. I'm definitely going to subscribe to this and check back every now and then

    Hi there,

Just finished going trough your entire SB and it was a wonderful experience. All in all it looks great and sped paints are nice too. I have mentioned my opinion about some of the posts that caught my eye.

I think you should try the Events such as EOW. So that you can test yourself out with some competition as well not to mention the valuable critiques you may receive. I vaguely recall seeing one of your pieces in that thread but im not really sure about it. If you are not already aware of it. here goes the link.

    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=82

So here's my humble opinion about some of the pieces. I truly enjoyed and learned a lot by going through it so many thanks.

    36/52 – Nice brush use

57 – Looks good but those reins look little too flat

74 – nice color use and good composition

77 – I love this one. Horizon looks little too blurry but its not a big deal anyway.

100 – Again, color and lighting is great. The medium sized mushroom looks little flat compared to others, though.

108 – 3rd from top, nice work. I think, if you make the edges sharp in the right side of the image ( I mean the landscape) you could add more depth to the scene.

109 – Bottom image, I love this one. Anyway have to mention, the scales look little odd when comparing the statue and the buildings or maybe its just me seeing it wrong!

134 – Bottom image, putting a naked woman in front of a well detailed dragon may take the attention off from it. If that’s what you were looking for then no worries

160/167 – these are looking good mate.

207 – About the coming thingy, That bright red sun is taking all the attention in the composition and makes it difficult for the reader to concentrate on the rest of the thumbs. Just a thought.

215 – Yet again have to mention, Nice color use.

283 – Bottom image, Really like this piece. Good job.

347 – This piece is amazing mate. You ought to finish that other leg and add more detail to the scene mate, so that it will be a finalized piece.

357 – nice color use composition ( nice definition of foreground and background). good work!

364 – Good work. Only thing that’s bothering me is the middle finger, coz it looks little odd. Just a thought.

368 – These portraits are looking good. Well done.

387 – Color contrast is great in this piece mate.

390/391/393 – Lovely work. Youre getting better in lighting/ Attention to detail and color use.

407 – im on the same opinion as I was in post #134 mate. Other than that it looks great.

there it is. Well what else can i say now... Keep up the good work and try learning more and more. Above all keep practicing. Wish you the best of luck mate.

P.S. I rated 4 stars. Think you have earned it. Hope that you'll be posting more of your good work and share it with other artists in CA.

@ Nutella Thank you very much!
@ devastacio Wow, that is some review! Thank you for a such detailed comment, I really appreciate it, and I'm glad that you've spent some time watching my art not so art Thank you for the rate, I'll keep practicing forever, even if I'll one day earn 5 star and get some super cool job. And I'm aware of COW, CHOW and EOW. For now I was just submiting for the DSG.
Right now I'll be participating for Dominance War 5 (definetely won't win, but at least will gain a lot of experience), but after that I'll try OW's.
    @ shadow1687 Thank you )
@ Verehin Нагляделся разных спидпейнтеров, и кажется начал набивать руку, а над 397 я хорошенько посидел, не меньше 5 часов. Спасибо, что заглянул.

Guys, It's so nice to hear kind words and constructive critique. I'm really enjoying my time here. I'll visit your SB soon.

But right (about 1 am.) now I am so tired and have nothing to show, but I have something to say... 30 Seconds to Mars (and Jared Leto personally) FUCKING ROCK! I've just returned from the concert (here, at Moscow) and I'm filled up with positive energy and inspiration. I don't have right words for that, who likes the band and ever was on their show - knows what I'm talking about.

Anyway, thank you all for stoping by, will provide some stuff in this weekend. Love you, cheers!

Nice concept mate. The wing ( or whatever ) on the right side should be wee bit darker than the other wings is it? im presuming the light isnt hitting on it directly. anyways if its emitting a subtle glow then im wrong. Just a thought. Nevertheless good work and keep it up.

@ LtPlissken Roger that. Check your ammo, and fire at will.
@ devastacio Yep, little self emitting glow was the idea. But it is should be little be darker, because of ambient occlusion by body.
    @ JIEZHOU Thanks )
    @ Kungfoowiz Unless it's a ever-beer-providing-bug. I would left this one.

smaaaaal upd, had a little time to paint - got to prepare before term exams. ugh.. the first one was made a while ago, another one - tonight.

    Nice, cleaner renderings, Seraph.

As far as joints and movement, I'm unsure about the knee of the knight. I know, I know- it's a sketch and those joint figuring outers take time. I'm fond of the feet placement- you've done a lot of the two dimensional work that makes them read as three-dimensional. Awesome!

    These characters look awesomely-groovesomely
good, you could just continue to do 10 or 20 in the
series of these, and would be a nice collection, but
that is just a suggestion of course.

    @ Grassy Thanks mate.
@ Quigleyer Heh thanks. I know that knight sucks (he was made a few ago), but I couldn't leave humpy alone. But you're right - that time I was carried away by armor, so anatomy failed.
@ LtPlissken I could, and soon I'll try that. If you've seen "The Black Adder" show, then it's definetely where it comes from. And if not - watch it, if you like british humor.
    @ Parsakoira Thank you!
@ kingkostas Glad to see you back here my friend. Thank you very much.

Tomorrow I'll try to provide some fun stuff. Right now just decided to tweak that guy (previous version's on the page 13). And don't worry - I do every day pencil anatomy studies. Lots of them. And thank you all for support and critique!
