The Last Movie/Series You Saw & Would Recommend

So, as anyone and everyone knows, stories, mythology, legends and movies can be great inspirations and good for the creative processes. This can be useful to anything from characters, themes, or even worlds or special effects. Personally, I'm a movie fan, so I have a lot to share and contribute. I hope everyone else can expand on my library and recommend new things with every post.

I'm going to start out with a movie I just finished watching with my girlfriend. It's a foreign Asian horror called "Re-Cycle," directed by the Pang Brothers, and stars Angelica Lee. Angelica plays a writer who must journey through parallel realities to make her way back to her own reality. The special effects and atmosphere in this movie are incredible, especially at the end! I'm not going to spoil anything, but everyone should watch it. It's amaaaaaaaaaaaazing~!

Edit: Oop, didn't see the Entertainment & Media sub-category for a second!

    The Vengeance series.

    Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
    Old Boy
    Sympathy for Mrs. Vengeance.

    Great moral stories.

Old Boy is amazing! One of my favorite movies of all time.

I just rewatched Tom Hanks & Steven Spielberg's Band of Brothers. The power and emotion of it all never gets old. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, I'd deeply recommend it. For those who haven't seen it, it follows the men of Easy Company, a unit within the Paratroopers of the US military in World War II, and recounts the war from the perspective of each man within the unit from leader Richard Winters, to medic Eugene Roe. It's fascinating, and has everything a person can expect from a war series, after all, what's more hilarious and unique than seeing David Schwimmer play a military dick?

Fun Fact: The production for Band of Brothers costed more than Saving Private Ryan.

More foreign films coming up, specifically of Takeshi Kitano (Beat Takeshi)!
