hey man, your studies are really good, they all have a traditionnal feel, that's great, the blond man portrait is the best to me, keep on working!

    Dude! I love this stuff....

I hope you don't mind but I did a quick paintover to show you how you could up the contrast and saturate your colors more to bring your paintings to life. Again I apologize if you want me to take it off I will but felt compelled to show you myself.

    Jaytea: thanks! :]
deestar: thank you, i will try to save some more process shots in the future. i would love to share my process and help out as much as i can :]
bouroune: thanks! the blonde guy is my great friend erik
Samuel Gray: thanks for the input! i defiantly see your point. saturation is something i struggle with sometimes. it's hard to find that point of not going to far and still not be too mellow. the idea for that painting was to keep everything in sort of the same palette as the background. thanks again!

here's some sketches and a portrait of the artist Steven Wilson done from this photo. i hope the sketches show up ok, i dont have access to a scanner so i had to snap pictures of them.

Joe Brown: pretty much 100% on both opacity and flow all the time, atleast in photoshop. i use paint tool sai alot aswell, often using the water color brush.

Amazing studies man, you use colour so well. Do you have much experience of traditional painting? If so, then it really shines through in your digital work. If not, then you're just plain amazing.

Wow! Everything here is fantastic. Your painting style is very fluid and your composition is great.

The only thing I might suggest, would possibly be to define your edges a little, (Not alot though, because it doesn't need it). More shadow/light variation would be cool too.

    Ultimately though, amazing work.

Awesome work man, they have a very traditional look about them - I guess you have a traditional background?

Wow you have some amazing digis going on there sir, but I have a question, and this isnt about process or brushes, nothing to do with photoshop, well kinda but not. Ok, Iam trying to figure out if a laptop is the best thing for me, I really dont want a desktop because I want mobilitly, and I hate sitting in one place for a long time, also I wouldnt have to be home to use photoshop, so my question is do you think a 800 dollar laptop would be ok for photoshop, Iam will be deleting everthing else off the laptop and photoshop will be the only program on the computer, could you please help me ?

AND AMAZNING ARTWORK, change that color pallete up a little bit, Iam not expert in photoshop, not even good, I think, but it seems you stick to really dull colors, I mean super dull, just a little change pls, other than that, 5 in my book.

Look, Iam diet drama, want to spend tha night dont bring pajamas, man there's so much heat beneath clothes, you see me !

JesArt Sketchbook, go have a gander..

Love your work. It's simple yet incredibly interesting. Your soft shading and simple colors make it really easy on the eyes but still captures my attention. I can't wait to see more! Keep up the great work!
